2019 FERRARI 488 PISTA - 510 KM

This Ferrari 488 Pista is presented in as-new condition, and represents what is almost certainly a unique example of the sensational track-focused supercar. Under the engine lid is a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8, producing an immense 710bhp and 568lb-ft of torque, coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows just 510 km from new.

This Pista was acquired by the current owner in Hong Kong 18 months ago, and it is still covered by the original Ferrari warranty and maintenance programme. It boasts a remarkable factory specification, inspired by Ferrari’s racing provenance.

The bodywork of this 488 Pista remains in as-new condition, with no accident damage or dents. It was specified in the two-tone special order paintwork combination of Verde British Racing for the bodywork, and Nero for the roof section. All of the paint is protected by a full application of Xpel paint protection film (PPF), and it is enhanced by factory-fitted Scuderia wing fields, gold forged wheels, and black exhaust tailpipe tips.

The car is fitted with the carbon-fibre front flaps, side air splitters, and front air vents. The rear diffuser, under-door covers, and rear moulding are also finished in carbon-fibre, and all of this composite material is finished in the bespoke hue of glossy green, which blends in with its dark green paint finish. There are also carbon-fibre engine cover mouldings and intake plenum covers.

Inside, the large carbon-fibre racing seats are trimmed with Blu Media Alcantara, with black Alcantara centre sections, and with Grigio Chiaro stitching - including for the embroidered ‘Cavallino’ emblems in the headrests. The seats also have green leather centre stripes, and there is green leather binding for the storage nets in the carbon-fibre door cards. Blu Medio Alcantara also covers the dashboard and door tops.

The upper centre console and inner sill trims are finished in carbon-fibre, and it also features the carbon-fibre Driver Zone with LED shift lights and carbon-fibre paddles. The factory-fitted equipment includes dual-zone climate control, a rear parking camera, road-legal roll bar, and a yellow rev counter; and there are no electrical faults whatsoever.

Its first routine check and service was carried out in September 2020 at 400 km by Ferrari Hong Kong, and of course the car remains covered by the balance of its original seven-year maintenance programme. All four wheels are fitted with the original Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres all round, which are still in great shape with plenty of tread.

This Ferrari 488 Pista is finished to an eye-catching factory specification, with some bespoke touches that mean it is almost certainly a unique supercar.
