KEY FACTS

• A very rare, limited-edition modern interpretation of the stripped back minimalist ‘Bob-job’-style bikes of the 1930s, presented in nearly new condition with a full service history.
• It is powered by a 600cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine, producing 55bhp and 58Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
• This Spitfire Bobber is marked as number 93 of only 500 SkunkWerx examples produced, and was first registered in January 2020.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This Spitfire Bobber features a silver-painted fuel tank and stainless steel radiator guard, along with contrasting brown leather trim on the handlebar grips and tank strap, as well as a matching quilted design on the seat.
• Elsewhere, a carbon-fibre front mudguard, headlight surround, chain guard and master cylinder guard add a lightweight modern touch.
• A billet sprocket cover also features alongside matching billet brake and clutch levers.
• Factory-fitted equipment includes adjustable Marzocchi upside-down forks and a YSS shock, Brembo performance brakes and Avon Cobra whitewall tyres.
• The sonorous dual exhaust system has had its baffles removed, though these are included in the sale.
• Alterations to the bike include a modified side stand and a side-mounted number plate holder, with the original number plate mount included in the sale.
• The bike is accompanied by its original service book and owner’s manuals contained in a leather wallet. Two original key fobs are also present including the master fob, along with two steering lock keys.

CONDITION

• There is no known damage to the frame or bodywork.
• The silver paintwork on the tank is original and is noted as being in excellent condition, with no substantial blemishes to speak of.
• All other trim pieces including the digital display and handlebar grips are in superb order.
• The seat is showing very minor signs of wear, in line with the bike’s use.
• The bike has been serviced from new, and presents with no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• Its first MOT test is not due until 31 December 2022.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Spitfire’s most recent service was completed by CCM in August 2021 at 2,124 miles, who completed an oil and filter change, brake fluid change, replacement of the battery straps and the install of the side stand modification.
• Prior to this, the bike’s first service was performed by CCM at 745 miles in July 2020, and also underwent a pre-delivery inspection in December 2019.

SUMMARY

This 2019 CCM Spitfire Bobber is a very well presented, low-mileage example of the rare limited-production motorcycle. Ideal for weekend sprints and guaranteed to turn heads, its appeal is bolstered further by an array of tasteful styling options and minor modifications, helping make it a strong retro-themed addition to any collection.
