2019 ALPINE A110 PURE

This Alpine A110 Pure is a superb example of the acclaimed lightweight sports car, presented in virtually as-new condition throughout. Power comes from the 1.8-litre turbocharged inline-four, producing 248bhp, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows just 7,037 miles, and the car is offered at No Reserve.

First registered on 7 June 2019, this Alpine has just one private owner from new, who has enjoyed it sparingly as a third car, and kept it dry stored when not in use. The car had its first service carried out right on schedule, it has had all relevant recall work done, and it remains under the original factory warranty until June 2022.

Its bodywork and paint remain pristine, finished in the solid colour of Glacier White, which complements its ‘Pure’ specification rather well. The body has been treated to a G-techniq ceramic coating, and the front end was given an Xpel paint protection film (PPF) treatment at a cost of £1,500 to keep the nose free of marks and stone chips. The film has lifted very slightly near the lower bumper, but the car remains in superb order.

Its windscreen was replaced under warranty in June 2020, but otherwise everything is as it left the factory. The car rides on the 18-inch diamond-cut ‘Serac’ design alloy wheels, which are immaculate. Its optional extras include the high-performance brake upgrade, rear parking sensors, and the active sports exhaust.

Inside, the cabin is lavishly trimmed with black leather and microfibre suede. Its Sabelt bucket seats have quilted patterns on the bolsters - which also appears on the door cards - and they are accented by blue stitching. Blue accents also appear along the centre tunnel, dashboard, and steering wheel, as well as for the 12’o’clock top marker on the rim. The car was specified with Alpine Telemetrics, the logo floor mats, and with the aluminium driver’s pedals and passenger footrest. There are no interior faults, and no warning lights on the dashboard.

This car had its first service on schedule in June 2020 at 6,065 miles, carried out by Alpine West London. It included an engine oil and filter change, while the car also had the engine wiring warranty recall campaign carried out in late 2019.

Its first MOT is not due until 6 June 2022, and the vendor reports that the tyres are all in excellent condition, with around 5mm of tread on all four corners.

Accompanying the car is the original pre-delivery inspection sheet, the service record, and the rest of the original book pack. All of the tools are still stored in the boot, as is the supplied oil top-up bottle.

This Alpine A110 Pure is a sublime driver’s car, which combines appealing retro-inspired design with wonderful handling and chassis balance. It counts the likes of McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray among its fans and owners, which is perhaps unsurprising given its keen focus on lightweight performance. For someone seeking a nearly-new example with very low mileage to add to their collection, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
