2019 ABARTH 595 COMPETIZIONE - 70th ANNIVERSARY

This Abarth 595 Competizione 70th Anniversary is an entertaining and practical hot hatch, offered for sale in original condition and with little more than running-in mileage. Under the bonnet lies a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine producing 178bhp, powering the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox. The odometer reads 1,700 miles.

This UK-market 595 was first registered on 29 March 2019, with one previous keeper on the V5C, and has been in the hands of the vendor for nearly two years.

Finished in metallic red, the Abarth’s bodywork remains in the condition you would expect for a car which has covered less than 2,000 miles from new. The paint finish is even and clear, with no fading or blemishes, and the front end is free of stone chips. The glass, black mirror caps and model-specific 595 Competizione 70th Anniversary badging present very well, reflecting the gentle use this example has had to date. The underside is in similarly impressive condition. It rides on the factory-fit 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, which remain in excellent condition with no chips or kerbing damage.

Inside, the 595’s cabin remains in near-showroom condition throughout. The fabric-covered Sabelt bucket seats are free of rips and tears, with only the slightest signs of use. Its door cards, dashboard, and other durable plastic trims are also in great shape. There are floor mats protecting the black carpet, alloy pedals, and also carbon and suede trim for the steering wheel. Factory-fitted equipment includes air-conditioning, touch-screen navigation, and a multifunction steering wheel, and all of the electrics work as they should.

Due to its low mileage to date, it is yet to have its first service. The vendor reports that the car has needed no maintenance during their ownership, and that it remains in excellent mechanical order. Its first MOT test will fall due on 28 March 2022.

Riding on a matched set of Pirelli P Zero Nero tyres all round, these are in near-new condition and have ample tread remaining. Included in the sale will be the unused air compressor, puncture repair kit, towing eye, and screwdriver stored under the boot floor.
