2018 TRIUMPH TIGER 800 XRX

KEY FACTS

• A highly capable motorcycle, which remains in superb condition with very low mileage.
• It is powered by the 800cc 12-valve inline-three engine, producing 94bhp and 58lb-ft of torque, coupled to a six-speed gearbox.
• The bike has reportedly only been used once, in 2018, where it was ridden to Circuit Paul Ricard as it was owned by a senior figure in an F1 team, before being placed into storage.
• It has recently undergone its second service, and is offered in sound mechanical condition.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The Tiger 800 features a tubular steel trellis frame with a twin-sided cast aluminium alloy swingarm. There are also cast aluminium alloy ten-spoke wheels, measuring 19-inches at the front and 17-inches at the rear.
• There are Showa 43mm upside down forks at the front, and a Showa monoshock absorber with hydraulically adjustable preload at the rear.
• Braking is by twin 305mm floating front discs with Brembo two-piston sliding calipers, and a single 255mm rear disc with a Nissin single-piston caliper.
• Stainless steel three-into-one header exhaust system with a side mounted stainless steel silencer.
• TFT multi-functional instrument pack with digital speedometer, trip computer, digital tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, service indicator, clock and four rider settings.
• Its original owner’s manual and service book will be included, with two keys.

CONDITION

• No damage to the frame or body.
• Its Lucerne Blue paintwork is in excellent condition, though one scratch has been   reported on the nearside of the front fairing.
• Its black seat is in very good shape, but no wear or damage.
• No electrical faults have been detected.
• Its first MOT test was due on 9 May 2021, but was missed as the bike was in storage. It will require a fresh MOT certificate before taking to the road.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was in July 2021 at 1,121 miles, where technicians at Clapham North MOT changed the fluids, filters, battery and clutch lever. Its running-in service was carried out in June 2018 at 146 miles by Metropolis Motorcycles.

This Triumph Tiger XRX is a nearly-new example of the versatile motorbike. It was sparingly ridden before being put into storage for a few years, and would now make a superb all-rounder for any Triumph fan.
