2018 PORSCHE 911 (991) GT2 RS WEISSACH PACK

This 2018 Porsche 991 GT2 RS Weissach Pack is a stunning example of the limited-edition supercar, presented in outstanding condition and featuring a raft of desirable factory options, which enhance its performance both on and off the track. Under the rear engine cover is the 700hp twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre flat-six - which remains the most powerful 911 production motor - driving the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK transmission with paddle shift.

This prodigious power, combined with the car’s 1,440kg weight, allows it to launch from 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 211mph. The odometer displays just 2,023 miles from new.

First registered on 30 April 2018, this GT2 RS is finished in the vibrant hue of Racing Yellow, which provides an attractive contrast with the car’s black and exposed carbon-fibre elements. Aside from its cosmetic options, the car is also fitted with desirable factory performance upgrades. These include the Weissach Pack, which features a carbon-fibre roof in place of the standard magnesium item, and magnesium alloy wheels; plus the Clubsport Package, which increases the car’s on-track usability and replaces the Weissach Pack’s titanium roll cage for an FIA-approved steel one.

First registered on 30 April 2018, this original UK-market GT2 RS was acquired by the seller one year ago, and has been driven sparingly and maintained to a very high standard.

Owing to its careful ownership, the car’s bodywork remains in excellent condition, with no prior accident damage and straight, unmarked panels. The eye-catching Racing Yellow finish is also pristine, and works together with the carbon-fibre accents to give this high-performance 911 a wasp-like appearance. In fact, as recognition of the GT2 RS’ record-breaking lap time around the Nürburgring, this car’s customised illuminated carbon-fibre sill covers read ‘Ring Stinger’, and feature an image of a wasp to reflect the colour scheme. The related registration ‘W25 ASP’ is also included in the sale.

The exterior trim, including the carbon-fibre window trims and mirror caps also presents very well indeed, and there are black LED headlight lenses. It rides on the correct staggered set of 20-inch and 21-inch magnesium alloy wheels, which are finished in Satin Platinum and feature black centre-lock nuts.

Moving inside, the cabin is trimmed in two-tone black leather and red Alcantara, and is free of any wear or damage. The lightweight carbon-fibre bucket seats have black leather bolsters with red Alcantara centre sections, and are accented by red stitching, ‘Weissach RS’ embroidered logos and red seatbelts. The steering wheel is clad in red Alcantara with a black top section, and the headlining is also in red Alcantara. As unique touches, the air vent slats are finished in the body colour, and the recessed strips on the PDK gear selector are painted red.

Factory-fitted equipment includes the desirable front axle lift system, cruise control, as well as the Bose surround-sound system and a reversing camera. All of the car’s buttons, switches, and electrical items work without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

This limited-edition RS’ first service was carried out in May 2020 at 1,949 miles by Porsche Centre Silverstone. Prior to this, the car received its pre-delivery inspection by Porsche Nottingham in April 2018, with 30 miles showing on the odometer. In the interim, it also had a used car check in November 2018 at Porsche Centre Silverstone, and a wheel alignment check and setup at specialist JZM in December 2018 at 702 miles.

Given its age, this sensational modern supercar has not yet required its first MOT test, which is due on 29 April 2021. All four wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, which the vendor describes as being in excellent condition.

This Porsche 991 GT2 RS Weissach Pack is an electrifying track-focused 911, which combines blistering pace and astonishing circuit handling, yet has sufficient practicality and comfort to make it an exhilarating road car too.
