2018 PEUGEOT 208 GTI 'EDITION DEFINITIVE'

With one owner since new, this limited edition 2018 Peugeot 208 GTi Édition Définitive is still in superb condition. It features a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder motor that breathes through a bespoke Peugeot Sport exhaust system and is capable of 153kW. This is paired with a six-speed manual transmission and Torsen LSD. The odometer reads 54,550 km.

First registered in August 2018, the car has had a single owner who has given it fastidious mechanical and cosmetic attention. It is number eight of 20 limited edition models supplied to the Australian market. A faultless daily driver during its current ownership, it is sold with two years remaining of the five-year factory warranty.

The GTi Édition Définitive was only available in Pearl White, and the factory paintwork is in excellent condition presenting only light stone chips up front and minor wear elsewhere. Its bodywork has never been damaged and remains as new. The matt black accents are another unique aspect of the special model, including the 18-inch Peugeot Sport specific Speedline alloys which look very presentable.

Inside, the black interior with red accents is in great shape, with no significant marks and only minimal wear. Peugeot Sport Recaro bucket seats add to the sporty appeal and reflect the car’s additional Peugeot Sport factory-fitted performance features, including the lowered suspension, Sachs dampers, wider track and four-piston Brembo callipers. The cabin has a high specification including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and all controls and electronics work correctly.

The car has exclusively run on BP Ultimate 98 octane fuel and has been treated to a full service schedule with Trivett Peugeot, including scheduled 12-month services, 20,000 km service, and intermediate 10,000 km oil changes. Receipts will be included in the sale.

It was last serviced in August 2020, when the engine oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, spark plugs, and brake fluid were replaced, and a fuel system clean and wheel alignment were all done. Prior to that, new Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres were fit in April 2020, and the car was serviced in February 2020 at 29,500 km when just the engine oil and filter were done. In August 2019, work included renewal of the engine oil, oil filter, pollen filter, spark plugs and a wheel alignment. The next service is not due until August 2021, and a factory-recommended five-litre bottle of TOTAL Ineo Quartz oil and Peugeot oil filter will be included in the sale.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres have plenty of life left in them, as do the brakes. Two used Super Sport tyres will be included in the sale as spares. All documentation from new including log books, service history receipts, owner’s manual and folder and spare key will be included with the car.
