This eye-catching Mercedes-Benz E220d Cabriolet is a fabulous, nearly new example of the German brand’s luxurious convertible tourer. A 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine lives under the curvaceous bonnet, sending 191bhp to the rear wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox. The odometer shows 16,850 miles.

This E-Class was first registered on September 27, 2018 and is currently in the care of its second owner. The seller has owned the car for around six months.

As you might expect from a two-year-old car, the bodywork is in excellent order, with no apparent issues. The metallic black paint forms a striking combination with the black and red leather interior. Its black fabric hood appears to be in great condition, too, while the brightwork and two-tone alloy wheels of this AMG Line car really complement the gleaming paint.

The car is fitted with the eye-catching Night Package, which includes gloss black trim pieces and 20-inch alloy wheels, which are in superb condition.

Inside, this E220d boasts stunning red leather trim on the seat centres and door grab handles, complementing the black leather of the dashboard and seat bolsters, as well as the metallic black paintwork. The upholstery is also teamed with Mercedes’ dark open-pore ash wood trim, which can be found around the door handles and the centre console, as well as across the width of the dashboard.

This cabin is packed with stylish and convenient features, including the clock on the centre console, jet-inspired air vents and the central infotainment screen. The seller reports the cabin is “immaculate throughout”, with no faults or warning lights.

As this car is still a few weeks shy of its second birthday, it has had just one service, carried out around six months ago. No other maintenance work has been necessary, and the car remains covered by its original Mercedes-Benz warranty.

Due to its tender years, this E220d has not yet had its first MOT, which will fall due in September 2021. The car is fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres, which are reported to be in excellent condition, with the pictures showing plenty of tread remaining.

The seller says that all original books and documents are present, along with the first service paperwork and other factory-supplied items.

This Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet is a gorgeous example, combining a classic black exterior with the eye-catching black and red interior to create a bold aesthetic. It would make an ideal top-down long-distance touring car or weekend cruiser, presents in superb condition throughout, and is ready to enjoy.
