This McLaren 720S is a superb example of the car that Top Gear magazine called “the most complete supercar on sale today”. It is finished in a great factory specification, with one owner from new. The 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 produces a remarkable 710bhp, and is paired with the seven-speed SSG dual-clutch transmission. The odometer shows just 5,077 miles.

First registered on 1 March 2018, this right-hand drive UK market car boasts a fantastic Performance specification with options totalling nearly £50,000. The paintwork is MSO Defined Burton Blue, and the interior is finished in Scoria Grey and McLaren Orange. It features exterior Carbon-Fibre Pack 1 as standard, with 2 and 3 as optional upgrades, the Stealth Pack, 10-spoke forged alloy wheels, suspension lift, and the sports exhaust.

The interior was specified with electrically adjustable and heated memory seats, the adjustable steering column, a Carbon Black Alcantara steering wheel, and a visible carbon finish for the MonoCage II chassis tub. There is also carbon-fibre secondary trim around the cabin, the Bowers and Wilkins 12-speaker audio system, front and rear parking sensors, and McLaren Track Telemetry.

The bodywork of this 720S is in superb condition, with no damage to the panels. The striking Burton Blue paint has a smooth and even finish around the car, and it has undergone a full paint protection film treatment at Griffiths Car Care in Merseyside. The only notes from the seller are that there is a small chip in the windscreen, and a kerb mark on one of the wheels.

All of the carbon-fibre exterior features present superbly, with no chips or cracks, Including the rear diffuser, front and rear air ducts, wing mirrors, headlight surrounds, and front lip spoiler. It rides on a set of Platinum finish Super-Lightweight alloys, which are in excellent condition - save for the aforementioned kerb mark. They are complemented by McLaren Orange brake calipers.

Inside, the Scoria Grey trim is in fantastic condition, accented throughout by McLaren Orange panels and stitching. The ‘By McLaren’ blend of Alcantara, Nappa leather, and carbon-fibre gives the cabin real theatre, and adds to the excitement of being behind the wheel. There are also Zircon Silver and Brushed Iridium brightwork accents, carbon-fibre primary components, and McLaren Orange seat belts.

As you would expect, the car is in excellent mechanical condition. The first service was carried out in April 2019 by McLaren Glasgow, which included renewal of the engine oil and oil filter, as well as the HVAC cabin filter. The wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres in size 245/35 ZR19 at the front and 305/30 ZR20 at the rear, which are in great condition with 5mm of tread remaining.

Accompanying the car are all of the original books and sales literature, as well as the receipt for the first service. Also present is the McLaren tyre inflator kit and battery charger. Having been first registered in March 2018, the car is still covered under the original McLaren warranty and roadside assistance until March 2021.

A five-star car across numerous titles, Autocar’s verdict stated: “The 720S’s class-transcending performance comes combined with remarkable breadth of ability on the road”. Elsewhere, Top Gear magazine said the 720S was: “probably the single most accomplished supercar we’ve ever driven, which is not the sort of statement we make lightly.”

This McLaren 720S in Performance specification boasts sensational pace and poise, not to mention a fantastic selection of factory options. It has been lauded by the motoring press as a remarkable supercar with astonishing abilities, and this represents a great opportunity to acquire a low-mileage car direct from its first owner.
