A critically acclaimed modern supercar, this low-mileage 2018 McLaren 600LT is a superb example of the marque’s ‘Sports Series’ road-legal racer, presented in an eye-catching colour scheme and with just one owner from new. It is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8, which sends 592bhp to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The odometer shows just 1,130 miles from new.

First registered on 20 December 2018, this right-hand drive UK-market example is finished in Myan Orange paintwork from McLaren’s ‘Elite’ range, and features a number of desirable factory options, including the carbon-fibre exterior upgrade pack, touring-size racing seats finished in black Alcantara, and ultra-lightweight 10-spoke forged alloy wheels.

Sparingly used and driven with care, this 600LT has never suffered any accidents or undergone any bodywork repairs, and remains in pristine condition today. Protected by a complete factory PPF (paint protection film) application, the vibrant Myan Orange paintwork remains in superb order, and contrasts well with the Dark Palladium roof and door inserts, along with the optional carbon-fibre elements, including the door mirror casings, front splitter, side skirts and rear bumper.

The car rides on a set of ultra-lightweight 10-spoke forged alloy wheels, with 19-inch items at the front and 20-inch at the rear. All four are in great shape, with no visible marks or damage, while subtle black brake callipers grip the high-performance carbon-ceramic brake discs behind.

On entering the cabin and pulling the soft-close doors shut, you are cocooned by black Alcantara, which covers the touring-size carbon-fibre racing seats, dashboard, door cards and steering wheel. All of the interior upholstery remains in fantastic condition, as do the optional carbon-fibre interior components, including the steering wheel spokes, shift paddles and centre console inlays. The floors are also protected by a set of branded mats, which remain in very good condition, while factory-fitted carbon-fibre sill finishers add a further racy touch to the cabin.

Other equipment includes the security pack, which features the all-important vehicle lift system, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera and the volumetric alarm upgrade; as well as air-conditioning, providing an additional touch of comfort in this lightweight supercar. All of the interior buttons, switches and electrical components are described as working without fault, and there are no warning lights or messages displayed on the dashboard.

This 600LT’s first routine maintenance was carried out on 15 September 2020 at 1,116 miles by McLaren Ascot, where technicians performed an engine oil service and a vehicle health check.

Due to its age, the car has not yet required an MOT test, and the road wheels are shod with Pirelli P Zero tyres, in size 225/35 ZR19 at the front and 285/35 ZR 20 at the rear, which are still in excellent condition with very little wear.

Accompanying this 600LT are its full complement of original documents and handbooks, as well as the factory-supplied lithium battery charger, warning triangle, first-aid kit and fire extinguisher. Furthermore, the car also comes with an additional set of ultra-lightweight gloss black wheels, which are fitted with new Pirelli Trofeo R tyres, as shown in the photo gallery.

Crowned Evo Magazine’s ‘Car of the Year’ in 2018, the McLaren 600LT is a pared-back modern performance hero, which offers astounding pace and stunning exterior styling. Offered for sale with just 1,130 miles on its odometer and with a range of desirable factory options, this superb example represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a spectacular driver’s car in as-new condition.
