2018 LAMBORGHINI HURACAN PERFORMANTE

This Lamborghini Huracan Performante is a thrilling contemporary Italian supercar, presented in a vibrant factory colour scheme, and in outstanding condition throughout. It is powered by a high-revving 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 producing 640hp, coupled to the seven-speed ‘Lamborghini Doppia Frizione’ dual-clutch automatic transmission with all-wheel drive. The odometer shows just 3,114 miles from new.

Its chassis and body are manufactured mostly from aluminium and carbon-fibre, with Lamborghini’s ‘Forged Composites’ material being used for the first time throughout the exterior and interior. The Performante is lighter than the standard car, and also benefits from stiffer suspension and powerful carbon-ceramic brake discs. Its headline performance figures are 0-62mph in just 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 201mph.

First registered in April 2018, this Huracan Performante has just one previous registered keeper on the log book. The seller acquired the car several months ago, and has enjoyed a few hundred miles behind the wheel. It benefits from the balance of the original four-year Lamborghini warranty until April 2022.

The bodywork is in excellent condition, and there is a clear HPI report on file for peace of mind. Its vibrant Arancio Borealis paint remains in superb order throughout, with no defects noted by the seller, and is protected by a full paint protection film (PPF) application. The door mirror housings, front and rear diffusers, sill extensions, and wing struts are finished in gloss black, and are all in great shape. Its Forged Composites elements also present well, with no cracks or chips in their high-gloss coatings.

Embellishing the flanks are the green, white and red stripes of the Italian Tricolore. The car rides on the 20-inch forged Narvi alloy wheels with a bronze finish, which are unique to the Performante. There are some minor kerbing marks on the offside wheel rim, but otherwise the alloys are pristine, and are accented by orange brake calipers.

In the cabin, this Performante was specified with the lightweight carbon-fibre seats, trimmed in leather and Alcantara, and finished with orange stitching and ‘Y’ panel details. As you would expect from a car with just over 3,000 miles on the clock the upholstery remains in excellent condition, with no wear, and only signs of light use. The carpets and mats have been kept in very good order, and the metal foot rest even retains its blue protection film.

The exotic Forged Composites material features on the centre console, door handles, air vent housings, and gear shift paddles, and presents superbly. Factory-fitted equipment includes cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, and power folding and heated door mirrors. At the front of the car, the original accessory bags are still stored safely in the boot.

Its first annual service was carried out in May 2019 at 435 miles at Lamborghini Manchester. The second annual service is due, but has not yet been booked due to Covid-19 restrictions on work. Having only been on the road for two years, it has not yet been through an MOT test, and the first will be due on 29 April 2021. It is in excellent mechanical condition, with no faults whatsoever. The wheels are shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres in size 245/30 ZR20 at the front and 305/30 ZR20 at the rear, which still have plenty of tread remaining.

Writing about the model at its launch, motoring writer Ben Oliver said it was a “harder, faster, louder and more exciting” version of the standard V10 model. This particular Lamborghini Huracan Performante has just two owners from new, low mileage, and a superb factory specification. With the original four-year warranty still in place, prospective buyers can have even greater confidence when bidding on this astonishing driver’s car.
