2018 CHEVROLET CORVETTE ZR1 CONVERTIBLE - LHD

This Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible is a sensational and rare 202mph American supercar, presented in an eye-popping specification and offered directly from its first and only owner. Under the bonnet is a mighty 6.2-litre supercharged V8, producing 745bhp and 715lb-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows just 1,700 miles.

Equipped with the optional Performance Package, this particular ZR1 features an aggressive carbon-fibre front splitter, a substantial and adjustable rear wing, and the Magnetic Ride Control system. The original semi-slick tyres have been swapped to more road-friendly rubber. This car also features the Sebring Orange Design Package, with associated bespoke finishes inside and out, and has the four-mode sports exhaust as standard - which boasts an outrageously loud setting in ‘Track’ mode - as well as carbon-ceramic brake discs.

Imported to the UK as a brand new car and road registered on 18 December 2018 to its first owner, this ZR1 Convertible has been driven sparingly and well-cared for. It is now offered to another modern muscle car enthusiast, so quite clearly is not a car for the shy and retiring.

The bodywork is in superb condition, with absolutely no panel damage, and sporting some significant aerodynamic appendages. The unique carbon-fibre ‘halo’ bonnet has a central opening to clear the supercharger assembly, while carbon-fibre is also used for the wing vents, the side sill extensions, and the vast rear wing. Its vibrant Sebring Orange paintwork is complemented via the Design Package with orange callipers, orange-painted accents on the front and side splitters, and Carbon Flash-painted alloys. The paint finish is reported to be in excellent condition with no blemishes noted, while the wheels have just a few minor kerb grazes visible, which should be straightforward to make pristine again.

In the cabin, the special Design Package touches continue, with the Competition Sport bucket seats having Jet Black leather upholstery for the outer panels, and suede micro-fibre for the centre sections, all of which is accented by orange stitching. The mix of leather and micro-fibre extends across the door panels, dashboard and transmission tunnel, while there is a large carbon-fibre inlay around the driver’s instrument gauges and centre console screen. The steering wheel rim is trimmed in carbon-fibre and suede, and the contrasting orange stitching continues throughout. There are also orange seat belts, ZR1-branded floor mats, and bronze-tinted interior trims. Factory equipment includes heated and ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, front and rear cameras, and a Bose audio system. The vendor reports that the interior is in excellent condition, with no faults and no warning lights on the dashboard.

Given the very low mileage, the car has not yet been sent for its first service. As mentioned above, the only change to its original factory specification is the tyre swap, which saw the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 items changed to Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres. If the car remains in the UK, its first MOT test will not fall due until December 2021. Accompanying the car are all of its original handbooks, literature, tools and accessories.

This Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Convertible is an American supercar that boasts incredible road presence, and even more remarkable performance, with its immense power output capable of propelling this drop-top from 0-60mph in less than three seconds.
