2018 CCM SPITFIRE SCRAMBLER #131

This CCM Spitfire Scrambler is a rare handmade British motorcycle, which is offered for sale with delivery mileage and in impeccable condition. It is powered by a 600cc four-stroke single cylinder engine, which produces 55bhp and 43lb-ft of torque, and is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer displays just 23 miles from new.

Based on the CCM Spitfire road bike, just 250 Scrambler models were made, with an altered riding position, extra ground clearance and a high-level exhaust evoking the bikes of the 1970s while enhancing its performance on the dirt.

First registered in October 2018, this Scrambler is number 131 of the 250 produced, and is now offered for sale by its first and only owner.

Owing to its extremely limited use and careful storage, this retro-inspired bike remains in impeccable cosmetic order, with no marks to its hand-made frame, silver-painted fuel tank or other components. The diamond-quilted tan leather seat is also in great shape, as is the central leather tank strap, and tan leather-wrapped hand grips.

While this bike is relatively light on electronics and switchgear given its focused design, its few buttons, switches and electrical items work without fault.

Offered for sale with only 23 miles on its odometer, this Spitfire Scrambler’s mechanical components are also in as-new condition, and it has not required any maintenance following its pre-delivery inspection completed in October 2020; with its running-in service being due at 500 miles.

Given its recent registration date, the bike has not yet required its first MOT test, which is due in October 2021, and its wheels are still fitted with their original tyres, which date to 2018 and are almost entirely unworn.

This rare British bike will be accompanied by its two keys, handbook and service book, which are contained within their original leather wallet. The seller is also supplying the original invoice for the bike’s sale and a CCM brochure.
