2018 BRABUS G800 WIDESTAR - MERCEDES-AMG G 63

This Mercedes-AMG G 63 boasts a significantly enhanced appearance and powertrain, with a genuine Brabus G800 cosmetic and mechanical upgrade. Under the bonnet sits the twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine, tuned to 800hp, coupled to a nine-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 13,131 miles from new.

First registered in September 2018, this G 63 left the Mercedes factory finished in Obsidian Black. Since then, it has been put through a Brabus 800 Widestar conversion, incorporating the substantial engine upgrade, high-performance intercoolers, air filter boxes and a re-programmed ECU. It now produces 800hp (789bhp) and 1,047lb-ft of torque, and can launch from 0-60mph in around 4.2 seconds.

The imposing bodywork of this G-Class is in excellent shape, with flush shut lines, smooth panels and no previous damage. The car has been given a Liquid Spray Wrap in Bronze, and the current finish is in excellent condition. It remains free of any notable stone chips or scuffs, and is a great match for the aggressive Brabus Widestar body kit. Its grille and wing vents have also been upgraded, and there is a carbon-fibre bonnet scoop, rear wing and spare wheel case. The headlights are assisted by a set of powerful LED roof lamps, while the car rides on a set of 23-inch forged alloy wheels, which present with some kerb scratches around the edges.

Inside, the two-tone brown and black Brabus Fine Leather upholstery is in excellent condition, featuring a marque plaque on the centre panels and the number 800 stitched into the headrests. A few light marks can be seen on the plastic door kicks, though the carbon-fibre which adorns the dashboard, centre console and steering wheel presents very well, along with the various pieces of brushed metal trim. The digital display, analogue overhead dials and main contact points are in very good order, and no electrical faults have been detected.

The vendor will provide details of the service history in due course. It has not yet undergone its first MOT, which is due by 12 September 2021. Accompanying the vehicle are all of the original handbooks.

This Mercedes-AMG G 63 has been upgraded to Brabus 800 Widestar specification, and is a nearly new example that remains in very good condition throughout. With 800hp on tap, a sumptuous interior and go-anywhere capability, this Brabus-enhanced 4x4 is an immensely capable all-rounder, with impressive ability both on and off the road.
