2018 ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE

This Aston Martin Vantage is a wonderful sporting GT, presented in a discerning factory specification, and offered by the first and only owner. It is powered by a storming 503bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows just 6,800 miles from new.

First registered in July 2018, this Vantage left the factory in a superb colour scheme. Its bodywork is finished in the special Aston Martin ‘Hyper Red’ metallic paint, while the interior is trimmed in luxurious Caithness leather, featuring a smart combination of Obsidian Black primary upholstery and Spicy Red secondary hide. The cabin is packed with technology and creature comforts, which makes it as refined as it is exciting.

As you would expect, the body panels remain in as-new condition, with no dents or other damage. Its Hyper Red paint finish is in excellent condition, with only some small ‘road rash’ chips around the rear wheel arches, and one larger chip on a pillar. It was specified with the Exterior Black Pack, with a matt black painted grille mesh and window surround trims, as well as matt black exhaust tailpipe finishers. The rear diffuser and blades are colour-coded to the body.

There is a gloss black roof panel, and the bonnet and boot lid badges are finished in bright chrome with green infills. The car rides on 20-inch Y-spoke forged wheels, painted in gloss black with a diamond-turned finish. It is also fitted with dark anodised brake calipers.

In the cabin, the combination of Obsidian Black and Spicy Red leather carries across the exterior theme. There are perforated central panels on the seat facings, accented by red stripes, and with red thread for all of the stitching. The upholstery remains in excellent condition, with little if any wear to speak of. Its Alcantara headlining is black, as are the carpets and the leather-trimmed rear shelf. The Obsidian Black hide is also used for the rim of the three-spoke sport steering wheel.

The interior was specified with the gloss black and silver pack for the switchgear and door furniture, and there are also gloss black trim inlays throughout. It is equipped with eight-way electrically adjustable heated and ventilated Sports Plus Seats, dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera setup, Blind Spot Assistance, and the Aston Martin Premium Audio system. It is also understood to have been ordered with the Aston Martin Tracking security system.

The car is presented in superb mechanical condition throughout, and the seller will be giving the car a service at an Aston Martin main dealer before handing over to its new owner. The car will also receive a full detail. Its first MOT test is not due until 30 July 2021.

At launch, Autocar magazine was full of praise for the new Vantage, concluding: “It can perform at close to supercar pace and now has fully formed track handling credentials, but it is also more characterful and fun at everyday speeds than plenty of its opponents. It has the kerbside desirability, interior richness and sense of occasion to rank as a genuinely exotic luxury product, too”.

This Aston Martin Vantage is a thrilling contemporary performance car, which blends riotous acceleration, deft road manners, and a genuinely luxurious cabin. It is practical and comfortable enough to use as an exotic daily driver, or can simply be savoured for the occasional blast on a sunny weekend.
