EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• While initially a standard naturally aspirated 235hp Nomad, this car was taken back to Ariel to be upgraded to 300hp supercharged specification, which also includes the oil cooler kit, lightened flywheel and uprated clutch. Ariel technicians reported that it is one of the freer-revving cars that they have seen.
• The full specification follows at the end of the listing, but the highlights include: FOX multi-adjustable hydraulic dampers with two-piece springs, a 15-inch rally-spec wheels and tyres package, Alcon four-pot callipers at the front and rear with 290mm discs, cockpit-mounted adjustable brake bias controller, full heated windscreen with washers and wipers, and a front winch bumper with WARN winch assembly. There are also stainless steel fixings around the body and to the brake and clutch lines.
• The vendor has invested in extra equipment to give the car greater usability, including a lockable and waterproof Givi top box capable of storing the removable steering wheel, a custom-made fabric ‘bimini’ style soft top that can be fitted/removed in minutes, and removable mud flaps. There are three different nose cone panels, enabling the next owner to swap between them as they wish.
• Its cabin has been upgraded with newer Atom 4 specification seats, offered as standard on the MY2020 Nomads, which are more comfortable for longer drives.
• A wireless FREEWheel brand indicator signal and horn control panel has been added to the steering wheel boss, but can easily be removed.
• An INNOVV C5 hardwired 1080p weatherproof dashcam is fitted, which can be easily removed. 
• Accompanying the car is full paperwork from Ariel Motors covering the initial purchase as well as all maintenance and parts upgrades, plus the owner’s handbook.

CONDITION

• No accident damage.
• The paintwork - what little there is of it - is described as being in excellent condition. There are some minor stone chips on the lower wishbones and under the engine tray.
• The windscreen has a 5mm chip on the passenger side, which is around two years old and is not getting any worse.
• Its interior is in great shape, with no damage and only some minor wear marks on the Alcantara steering wheel.
• No known mechanical or electrical faults.
• Its first MOT test was on 5 May 2021 at 15,199 miles, when it passed with an advisory regarding the aforementioned windscreen screen.

SERVICE HISTORY

• During March and April 2021, the car received an engine oil and filter change, as well as a new battery.
• Prior to this, a full service was carried out in September 2020 at 12,804 miles at Ariel Motors. This comprised renewal of the engine oil and filter, transmission oil, brake and clutch fluid, and fuel filter. It was also given a full inspection and road test.
• In September 2020, the supercharger rubber belt was replaced due to general wear, as well as the exhaust manifold due to a hairline crack.
