• With one owner from new, this Ariel Nomad has been exclusively serviced and maintained by the Ariel Motors at the factory.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The perfectly judged suspension setup consists of high-grade outboard Bilstein dampers wrapped in Eibach coil springs. The uprated braking system was selected for this car, which means it has Alcon four-pot callipers with 290mm brake discs front and rear. It was specified with the brake bias adjuster in the cabin.
• It was specified from the factory with the Road Pack, which includes projector headlights, LED indicators, fog lights, and mud guards. The narrow front bumper and rear bumpers are fitted, complete with a WARN Industries winch and towing eye.
• Its chassis frame is powder-coated in black and there are matt black body panels as well as a black bonnet and engine cover.
• Stone chip protection film has been professionally applied to the leading edges of the frame, suspension arms and anywhere else stone chip damage is likely. This includes the upper areas of the main frame and is shown on the photographs.
• In the cabin the composite bucket seats for driver and passenger have manual adjustment and they are fitted with full six-point three-inch FIA Sabelt harnesses. There is a full heated front windscreen, including washer jets and wipers, and a 12-volt auxiliary feed providing power sockets for the interior. Ahead of the driver is a quick-release steering wheel, front -rear brake bias adjuster and a programmable LCD instrument panel. Other equipment includes a passenger footrest and drivers clutch rest.
• The 15-inch lightweight wheels are fitted with Yokohama Geolandar A/T all-terrain tyres for impressive grip and control both on and off road.
• This car has the Full Fabric Cabin Cover option, as shown in the photographs, which provides wet weather protection.
• The ambidextrous chassis option allows the car to be converted easily from RHD to LHD for use overseas.
• This car comes with all the paperwork from Ariel Motors including the owner’s handbook, the service and maintenance records, and the original sales receipt and fitting options from the factory.

CONDITION

• No bodywork or chassis frame damage. The overall condition remains superb.
• What little paintwork there is remains in excellent condition with no visible scratches or scuffs.
• There are two minor marks on the windscreen that are shown in the photographs, as well as minor scuffs to the matt black plastic on the front turret tops.
• The interior is still in great shape, with no damage to the seats, floors or the minimal dashboard or cabin switchgear.
• No known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The first MOT test was carried out on 19 July 2021 at 5,141 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories whatsoever.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The last service was carried on 28 September 2020 at 4,500 miles, the car received an engine fluid and filter change, as well as fresh transmission oil, brake fluid and clutch fluid. A visual safety check of the mechanical systems was also carried out along with an inspection of the fuel hoses.
• Prior to this service, the Nomad received a 500-mile initial ‘running in’ service where the engine oil and filter were replaced and the valve clearances were checked.

SUMMARY

Autocar magazine’s five-star verdict of this Ariel was concluded with the following: “Plenty of our testers would pick a Nomad to play with on a circuit before they’d consider a dozen high-profile sports cars and supercars, and that’s not even the Nomad’s home turf. Get it on the road, where it’s also sensational, or loose ground, where it’s best of all, and it excels on another level.”
