2017 PORSCHE 718 CAYMAN S

This 2017 Porsche 718 Cayman S is a superb example of the marque’s mid-engined sports car, which is presented in the vibrant Miami Blue colour. It is equipped with the 2.5-litre turbocharged flat-four, coupled with the seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 15,146 miles from new.

First registered in September 2017, this Cayman S has been in the hands of its current keeper from new. Its factory specification included the Sport Design package – with the elements in painted gloss black – plus sport suspension and PASM, the Sport Chrono package including the steering wheel selector, Porsche sports exhaust system, and matt black 20-inch Carrera S wheels. It also has the PDLS headlights, front and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera, cruise control, heated GT Sport steering wheel, heated seats, and the Bose sound system. The car’s bodywork is all in great shape, and the condition of its Miami Blue paintwork has been described as excellent. It is entirely original, and benefits not only from a front end PPF application, but also a comprehensive ceramic coating. It is accented by matt black vents, and its 20-inch alloys are in generally good order, with just a few small surface scuffs.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed with black leather, presenting with minimal creasing on the driver’s bolsters. It was also specified with the Porsche crest embossed in the headrests. The door cards and dashboard are in good order, while the trim surrounding the switchgear is free of any significant scuffs. The car is equipped with dual-zone climate control and PCM with satellite navigation, in addition to the features mentioned above, and all of the electrics currently work as they should.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in August 2019 at 10,445 miles, where technicians at the Porsche Centre West London changed the engine oil and brake fluid, before undertaking a visual health check.

The most recent MOT test was on 15 September 2020 at 13,132 miles, which resulted in a pass with two advisories to monitor worn rear tyres. The wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero items, which have been fitted since the car was new in 2017, and the rear items would evidently benefit from replacement in the near future. Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks, two keys, a tracker fob and the full toolkit.

This Porsche 718 Cayman S is an acclaimed contemporary sports car, with genuine low mileage, single ownership from new, and which presents in excellent condition throughout. It would make a great daily driver, road trip companion, or weekend toy.
