2017 HARLEY-DAVIDSON IRON 883

This Harley-Davidson Iron 883 is a characterful American cruiser, which is presented in wonderful condition and with low mileage from new. It is powered by an 883cc pushrod-operated V-twin, which produces 51bhp and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The odometer displays just 746 miles.

First registered in May 2017, this modern Harley is fitted with a number of desirable optional items, including a Super Tuner kit, a Screamin’ Eagle Heavy Breather performance air cleaner, a black Screamin’ Eagle muffler, black pillion footpegs, a ‘moustache’ engine guard, and a side-mount number plate kit. The bike has had only one keeper from new, who is now offering it for sale.

Ridden sparingly and well-cared for, this Iron 883 is free of any accident damage or substantial marks. Applied to the fuel tank and mudguards, the bike’s original Olive Gold paintwork has a smooth and glossy appearance, and is free of any blemishes other than one small scratch on the fuel tank caused by an incorrectly fitted satnav mount, which has been touched in. Its black frame, shock absorbers and handlebars also present well, and it rides on a pair of nine-spoke black wheels with silver accents, which are in very good order; however, there are some scratches to the edge of the front wheel.

Clad in black leather, the saddle and additional pillion seat present very well, and are free of any rips, tears or blemishes, while the smooth black rubber hand grips are also unmarked. All of the bike’s switches and electrical items work as they should, and there are no warning lights displayed.

This Harley’s first and most recent maintenance was carried out in September 2018 at 660 miles, when Warr’s Harley Davidson performed a general service, re-mounted the satellite navigation system clamp and touched-in the scratch of the fuel tank, as mentioned above.

Its most recent MOT test was conducted on 12 February 2021 at 741 miles, resulting in a first-time pass without a single advisory. The seller states that both tyres date to 2017, but have ample tread remaining.

This Iron 883 will be accompanied by its original handbook, accessories catalogue, invoice and leather document wallet, as well as two keys, the bill for its previous service and its latest MOT test certificate.
