This McLaren 570S is a fantastic example of the marque’s celebrated ‘Sports Series’ coupe, presented in a handsome colour scheme and in superb condition throughout. It is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8, which produces 562bhp (570PS) at 7,400rpm, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters, which can propel the car from 0-62mph in a scant 3.2 seconds. The odometer indicates just 13,763 miles from new.
Introduced in 2015, the 570S was designed by McLaren with a greater focus on day-to-day usability when compared to most of its competitors, featuring increased luggage space, greater interior storage options and a more luxurious cabin.
This example was specified with Silver bodywork with Dark Palladium accents and a two-tone cream Nappa leather and black interior, enhanced by the carbon-fibre interior components upgrade pack. First registered on 25 May 2016, the car has just one prior keeper, and is now being offered for sale by its current owner who acquired it in 2019 and has used it sparingly since then.
Today, the bodywork remains in excellent condition, and is free of accident damage and dents. The Silver paint and Dark Palladium accents present equally well, with the only noted blemish being a single stone chip to the lower front bumper. All of the lenses and rubbers are in very smart condition, as are the dark exhaust tips, which integrate well with the Dark Palladium tail section and rear diffuser.
The car rides on a staggered set of five-spoke lightweight twin-spoke forged alloy wheels in ‘Stealth’ dark grey, with 19-inch items on the front and 20-inch to the rear. All four are in great shape, and are accented by their original carbon-fibre centre caps. The black calipers surround the standard carbon-ceramic brake discs.
Turning to the interior, the cabin features a two-tone cream and black colour scheme. Cream Nappa leather covers the sport seats and door card inserts, complemented by matching Alcantara headlining, cream carpets, and over mats. The upper dashboard, steering wheel, centre tunnel, upper and lower door cards are finished in black leather. All of the interior upholstery is in excellent condition throughout and is a testament to the previous owner’s fastidious upkeep and care for the car.
Adding a racy touch to the cabin, this 570S was also specified with the carbon-fibre interior components package, with the lightweight material being featured on the steering wheel spokes, extended gearshift paddles, door switches, lower centre console and IRIS touchscreen surround. All of the interior switchgear and electrical items work correctly and without fault.
Mechanically, the car is in fantastic condition, having been service regularly from new. Its most recent maintenance was a full service carried out by McLaren Bristol on 1 July 2020 at 13,752 miles.
The most recent MOT test was carried out on 2 July 2020 at 13,752 miles, which it passed with no advisories following the replacement of a worn front tyre. Its wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres, with each having 5-6mm or more of usable tread remaining. The front items measure 225/35 ZR19, while the rears are size 285/35 ZR20.
This McLaren 570S is a sensational yet accessible sports car, with blistering performance, deft handling and a truly sublime chassis. With just two keepers from new, a recent service under its belt and a lesser-seen colour scheme, this superb modern performance car is ready for its next owner to experience its unique combination of remarkable pace and civilised road manners.
