2016 LOTUS EXIGE 350 SPORT

This Lotus Exige Sport 350 is a lightweight, mid-engined performance hero, presented with low mileage, a vibrant colour scheme and in superb condition throughout. It is equipped with the supercharged 345bhp V6, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, revised by Lotus to deliver a cleaner gear shift. The Sport 350 can spring from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds and will push on to around 170mph.

First registered in March 2016, this Exige is now offered for sale by the trade. The odometer currently indicates 18,198 miles from new.

To the best of the vendor’s knowledge, this Exige has never sustained any damage to its bodywork, presenting with even panels and flush shut lines. The condition of the orange paintwork is described as generally excellent, with vendor reporting a thumbnail sized blemish and a small scuff on the body behind a rear wheel. The car rides on a set of 17-inch five-arm alloy wheels, which remain in excellent condition and sit in front of AP Racing brake callipers.

Moving inside, the black leather upholstery is in excellent condition, presenting with just some light creasing to the driver’s seat base. The Lotus emblem is embossed onto the headrests, with white stitching throughout. The leather door cards and black floor mats present well, along with the key contact points on the three-spoke steering wheel and aluminium gear lever with its exposed linkage. A Clarion stereo has been installed, with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and all of the switchgear is reported to work as it should.

The last service was undertaken in May 2020 at 14,465 miles, where technicians at Pheonix Motorsports in Accrington carried out a service as per Lotus requirements, also changing the air filter and brake fluid. Prior to this, in March 2019 at 10,426 miles, Oakmere Lotus in Cheshire carried out routine maintenance, while it was seen by JCT600 Lotus in Bradford in February 2018 at 9,317 miles.

The most recent MOT test was on 29 February 2020 at 14,121 miles, which resulted in a pass with two advisories to monitor wear to the front tyres. The wheels come wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres. The rears were fitted in 2018 and reportedly have 5mm of tread remaining, while the fronts are from 2016, and will evidently benefit from replacement soon.

This Lotus Exige Sport 350 is a superb lightweight sports car, presented with low mileage and in excellent mechanical order. With a driving experience described by the vendor as a huge thrill, this Exige would make a superb weekend toy or occasional track day companion.
