2016 BMW M4

Powered by a twin-turbocharged straight-six 3.0-litre engine boasting 425bhp and paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, this 2016 BMW M4 is a superb high-performance coupe in great condition, and with 34,268 miles from new.

Finished in striking Yas Marina Blue with Black Extended Merino Leather interior, this car has just one previous owner, and has a clear HPI report. The M4 is a sophisticated performance car, continuing the M Division’s illustrious history of sharp handling, high-powered rear-wheel-drive offerings. Well specified by the first owner, this example is ready to thrill on the road.

First registered in March 2016, the car was purchased by the second owner from a BMW dealer just over 18 months ago. Since then, he has enjoyed some 15,000 miles behind the wheel.

The Yas Marina Blue paintwork is in excellent condition, showcasing the muscular haunches of the body, as well as acting as a great contrast to the carbon-fibre roof. When the current owner purchased the car, BMW applied Autoglym Lifeshine paint protection, and today the finish retains a deep level of shine. Genuine BMW Performance black side vents have been fitted replacing the chrome units. The seller reports only two minor defects – a small stone chip to the bonnet, and a small mark to the rear bumper, both of which have been carefully touched in.

The factory 19-inch M Double-spoke style wheels are in unmarked condition, with the original M blue calipers also in great shape with plenty of life remaining on all discs and pads. The tyres are Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres all round, which were original equipment for the M4, and are date-coded to late 2017. They have around 5mm of tread remaining at the front, and 3mm at the rear.

Moving inside, the black Merino leather interior is in great condition, accented by smart carbon-fibre trim. There is some modest wear to the driver’s bolster, but otherwise the upholstery presents very well. The interior is well equipped with a head-up display, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, front and rear parking sensors, BMW ConnectedDrive with Professional satellite navigation, DAB radio and more. Adaptive M suspension also offers electronically changeable damper settings, while M Dynamic Mode gives the vehicle higher lateral dynamics and acceleration limits.

The car has a comprehensive BMW main dealer maintenance history, and was most recently serviced at 31,164 miles with an oil, microfilter, air filter and spark plug change carried out by Sycamore BMW in Peterborough. The most recent MOT test was on 5 August 2019 at 29,554 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories.

It is sold with all of the original books, literature and accessories, including the tyre sealant and compressor, first aid kit, warning triangle, towing eye, and locking wheel nut key.

Of benefit to the next owner is the fact that the car is covered by an existing BMW Service Inclusive service plan and MOT Protect until March 2021, and the service is not due for another 19,000 miles. BMW Service Inclusive covers the cost of parts, labour and fluids for common service items.

This BMW M4 is a superb example of the breed, in a fantastic vibrant factory colour, and which has clearly been fastidiously maintained. One of the great all-rounders, the F82 M4 can make light work of the daily commute, but is also a truly exciting drive on the open road.
