2016 AUDI RS6 AVANT

This Audi RS6 Avant is a practical and stylish family car, which boasts outstanding performance due to its upgraded powertrain, and a discerning factory specification. It is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, uprated to 750bhp by MRC Tuning, with Quattro all-wheel drive via an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows approximately 26,500 miles from new.

It left the factory finished in the smart Daytona Grey hue, with an interior of full black Valcona leather with diamond-quilted details. The specification included the Black Styling Pack, Carbon Interior Pack, the Dynamic Pack, Audi Adaptive Air Suspension, Bose sound system, and Audi MMI with satellite navigation. First registered on 3 March 2016 to an Audi main dealer as a demonstrator vehicle, this RS6 was acquired by the owner four-and-a-half years ago, and is the only private keeper.

During his tenure with the car, the RS6 has been given a Stage 2 upgrade to 750bhp / 1110Nm, incorporating an RS6 Performance high-flow air filter, NGK Racing spark plugs, and a full Milltek exhaust system with 90mm downpipes. The electronic top speed restriction was also removed. All of this work was carried out by Audi specialist MRC Tuning, and the original catalytic converters and downpipes will be included in the sale. The car has also been given lowering drop links for the original Audi air suspension, and again the original links will be given to the next owner. Its upgrades are rounded off by a Maxton Design front lip.

Today, this RS6 Avant presents in genuinely superb order, with absolutely no scuffs or dents to any of the panels. The Daytona Grey finish is in excellent condition, with the vendor noting that it has been fully detailed and ceramic coating for protection. Its front grille and badging, wing mirror caps, tailgate badges, and exhaust tail pipes are all finished in black, and all of the exterior trim is immaculate. The 21-inch diamond-cut gloss black alloy wheels are also in great shape.

Stepping inside, the Audi blends sporting intent with luxury trim like few others, and all of the black Valcona leather and ‘honeycomb’ stitching is in excellent condition with no damage or visible wear. Like the exterior, it has been detailed and kept looking smart by its fastidious owner. All of the carbon-fibre trim is undamaged and free of scratches, while the steering wheel’s leather and Alcantara trim is also still looking superb. The high specification includes four-zone climate control, front heated seats, the Bose surround-sound system, and Audi MMI Navigation Plus. All of the switches and buttons work perfectly, and there are no electrical faults.

The last scheduled maintenance was carried out at 25,968 miles by Euro Auto Technik Ltd, when the engine oil, oil filter, and pollen filter were changed. All parts fitted were genuine Audi items - as per all services since new - and a full mechanical inspection was also carried out. Prior services were also carried out by Euro Auto Technik at 19,726 miles, when the air-conditioning was also serviced, and at 17,062 miles, when the front and rear brake pads and brake fluid were renewed. Two other previous engine oil services are also on record.

The most recent MOT test was on 4 March 2021 at 26,456 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories or defects noted. The vendor states that the matching Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres are in very good condition.

Accompanying the car is all service history paperwork from new, plus the original book pack with various user guides and other factory-supplied literature. Two keys are also present.

This Audi RS6 Avant is a true ‘super estate’, which boasts a significantly upgraded powertrain with astonishing performance on tap. Of course, it remains an eminently practical family car, with a luxurious and comfortable cabin, and plenty of space for luggage or leisure gear. It would make an exciting all-rounder, as effortless on the daily commute as it is on a thrilling road trip.
