2015 RENAULTSPORT MEGANE 275 TROPHY

This 2015 Renaultsport Megane 275 Trophy is an agile and practical contemporary hot hatch, presented in superb, unmodified condition. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine, which produces 271bhp and drives the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. The odometer displays just 22,480 miles.

First registered in March 2015, this 275 Trophy is finished in what has become Renaultsport’s signature hue of Liquid Yellow, which was a £1,300 option from the factory. The seller acquired the car in 2016 at 7,500 miles and has kept it in good order throughout their ownership.

As a result, this Gallic performance car’s bodywork is in great shape, with straight and dent-free panels. The eye-catching Liquid Yellow paintwork is also in excellent condition, and the seller notes that the front passenger-side wheel arch and boot sill have been resprayed to a high standard to remove some minor scratches. The body is accented by silver decals, which present very well, while the black door handles and door mirrors provide a smart contrast. Fitted as standard to the 275 Trophy, the Akrapovic exhaust is also in very good order, with no scratches or damage to its matt carbon-fibre shroud. This nimble Renault rides on the correct set of 19-inch ‘Turini’ alloy wheels, which are finished in gloss black and only feature a few minor kerb scuffs on their edges.

Moving inside, the supportive Recaro front seats are trimmed in black Alcantara with leather bolsters and red accent stitching, and present very well. Although there are some creases and very minor wear on their bolsters, this is commensurate with the car’s age and use. Elsewhere, the cabin is in excellent condition, with no noticeable marks on the dashboard or door cards. Finished in Alcantara, the steering wheel rim, handbrake, and gearshift gaiter are all in great shape.

Factory-fitted equipment includes air-conditioning, rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, satellite navigation and keyless entry. All of the car’s buttons, switches and electrical items work without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

This Megane’s most recent routine maintenance was a general service, which was carried out in February 2021 at 22,419 miles by Renault specialist Mark Fish Motorsport. Prior to this, the same garage carried out a full service and replaced the Brembo brake discs and pads in September 2019 at 22,265 miles, and Ren-O-Tec performed a full service in April 2018 at 14,599 miles.

Its last MOT test was conducted on 19 February 2021 at 22,424 miles, which resulted in a clean first-time pass. All four wheels are shod in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, which have covered around 5,000 miles since they were fitted and remain in great shape.

This contemporary hot hatch will be accompanied by a number of past service invoices, as well as a spare set of 18-inch Renaultsport alloy wheels which are fitted with Michelin PA4 winter tyres.
