2015 RENAULTSPORT MEGANE 265 CUP

This Renaultsport Megane 265 Cup is one of the most lauded contemporary hot hatches, boasting impressive performance and sublime handling. It is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four engine producing 261bhp and 265lb ft of torque, driving the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox and mechanical limited-slip differential. Today, the exterior is still in fantastic condition, with the bodywork being entirely undamaged and free of dents. The bright Glacier White paintwork has been well cared-for and is smooth and even, with only small stone chips hinting at the car’s age and mileage. Its rides on gloss black 18-inch ‘Tibor’ wheels, which are in fantastic condition, with no kerbing marks or other damage.

Turning to the cabin, its black fabric upholstery and leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear knob are accented by red stitching, and there are also dashes of red for the coloured seat belts and the dashboard finisher strip. RS logos are embroidered on the head rests. The interior is described by the seller as being in great condition throughout, with no damage to the seats, carpets, or the carbon inlays on the dashboard and door cards. There are just a few scratches on the plastic trims in an otherwise pristine interior.

Above the front occupants, a factory-fitted optional fixed glass sunroof brings additional light into the cabin, helping to create a more spacious feel, while climate control keeps the temperature in check. The 265 Cup is also was also specified with satellite navigation, as well as a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors, and a Bluetooth hands-free system.

Serviced routinely as a matter of course, the car is mechanically sound. Its last scheduled maintenance was carried out in December 2019, when the engine oil, oil filter and air filter were replaced. Before this, an interim service was carried out in December 2018. In February 2020, it was fitted with new front brake pads.

The last MOT test was also conducted on 30 December 2019 at 39,933 miles.
