2015 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 90 'TWISTED'

This 2015 Land Rover Defender 90 is a fantastic low-mileage example of the robust 4x4, which has been modified by renowned Defender specialist 'Twisted', and presents in excellent condition throughout. Under the bonnet is a 2.2-litre diesel engine, upgraded with the P4 Performance package, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission with permanent four-wheel-drive. The odometer currently indicates 16,211 miles from new.

First registered in August 2015, this Defender has been with its current keeper for around 18 months. As well as the P4 Performance upgrade, this Defender was also enhanced by Twisted with the acclaimed Bilstein shock absorber and steering damper package, as well as 18-inch sport alloy wheels and various cosmetic modifications, including painted body trims, a revised Stage 1 grille, stainless steel fixings, LED front bumper, and crystal headlights. The car will also come with the appropriate cherished registration ‘TW15 TDW’.

The bodywork is all in excellent shape and comes finished in the factory Corris Grey hue. The paint is reported to be in great condition, and though the vendor notes that some small stone chips can be seen on the front bumper, alongside a small dent behind the passenger door and a couple of scratches near the fuel filler cap, the finish is believed to be entirely original and retains a consistent shine. The car now features Twisted badging and decals, while it rides on a set of the marque’s five-spoke alloy wheels, which present with some scratching to their blue centre caps.

Inside, the black half-leather seat trim is in excellent condition, with the vendor reporting just some age-related wear to the driver’s bolster. One very small split in the stitching can be seen near the entrance to the glove compartment, though the upgraded leather across the dashboard and cubby box is generally in great shape. The door cards, carpets and headlining are in equally good order. The cabin has been fitted with a three-spoke Momo Millennium steering wheel, and also features an aftermarket Alpine stereo, uprated Hertz speakers, a heated windscreen and heated seats. All of the electrics are reported to work as they should, and there are no warning lights on the dashboard.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in August 2020, where technicians at Promec 4x4 Land Rover Repair in Cardiff changed the engine oil, gearbox and differential oils, and serviced the brake callipers. Two new swivel housings were fitted, along with under-arch protection, and the P4 Performance package was upgraded with the addition of a Twisted intercooler.

The most recent MOT test was on 17 March 2021 at 16,192 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The BFGoodrich All Terrain tyres are reported to be in good condition on all four corners.

This Land Rover Defender 90 by Twisted Automotive is a smart example of the breed, which has been tuned and cosmetically enhanced by a renowned Defender specialist and which remains in impressive condition.
