2015 LAND ROVER DEFENDER 110 XS

This well-loved one-owner Land Rover Defender 110 XS is a gem of a vehicle, with relatively few miles on the clock and finished in a handsome factory hue. Subtly upgraded with Twisted performance parts to provide extra grunt, its 2.2-litre diesel engine now produces 182hp. The odometer shows just 22,000 miles.

First registered on 29 December 2015, this car has remained in the hands of its first owner throughout its five-year life to date, and has evidently been well maintained over that period.

The Aintree Green paintwork is in superb order, with only minor blemishes such as the common bubbling on the windscreen hinge cover clips. Its black alloy wheels complement the rear tinted windows, black tow bar and side steps fitted to this example. The image is classic Land Rover, and though there are some light signs of use, the exterior is in genuinely excellent condition. The wheels show no signs of abuse, and are shod in chunky all-terrain tyres.

Inside, the black part-leather upholstery is in excellent condition, with no damage and only minimal signs of use on the driver’s seat. In XS trim, it benefits from air-conditioning and heated front seats, and there is also an Alpine stereo head unit. The headlining is in very good order, and the floors are protected by heavy-duty rubber mats. All of the switchgear works as it should, and there are no warning lights on the dashboard.

This Defender’s last service was carried out by the HiQ garage in Tunbridge Wells in January 2020, by which point the car had covered 20,962 miles. There, the service included fresh oil and genuine Land Rover filters, as well as replacement wiper blades and adjustments to the brake shoes.

Prior to this, it was also serviced in November 2018, at 18,221 miles, when Harwoods Land Rover Crawley carried out the standard main dealer three-year service, and in December 2017, when the 24-month service was carried out, including an air-conditioning service and replacement batteries for the alarm handset.

The car has been fitted with the Twisted P10 performance upgrade, increasing the power, adding a new intercooler and fitting a new stainless steel exhaust.

The most recent MOT test was on 14 January 2020 at 20,962 miles, which resulted in a clean pass. The Goodyear Wrangler tyres are in excellent condition, having covered less than 2,000 miles since being fitted.

This vehicle comes with all the usual manufacturer’s literature and accessories, including the owner’s manual and a full-size spare wheel.

Presented in excellent condition and with relatively few miles under its wheels, this Defender 110 is ready to go wherever its next owner wishes. The Twisted modifications also make it a more usable daily driver, with a useful amount of extra power, while it presents so well that it could easily be kept as a low-mileage collector car. The iconic Land Rover finds fans among every generation, and this is a particular smart example finished in a great classic colour.
