2015 FERRARI FF

This Ferrari FF is a superb example of a thrilling and yet wonderfully practical grand tourer from the Maranello marque, which also has all the must-have options ticked along with a great factory specification. Its engine is the formidable 6.3-litre naturally aspirated Tipo F140 V12, producing 652bhp, with on-demand four-wheel-drive via the seven-speed F1 dual-clutch automatic transmission. The odometer shows 18,913 miles from new.

The ‘Ferrari Four’ can sprint from 0-62mph in just 3.7 seconds, and has a top speed of 208 mph. Carbon-ceramic brake discs are fitted as standard. This particular car was first registered on 31 May 2015 by HR Owen St Albans and has one previous keeper on the V5C log book, who lived locally in Harpenden. The car was subsequently sold through HR Owen South Kensington and has been owned by the seller for the last two years, who has covered some 4,000 miles behind the wheel.

The car has been kept in a spacious underground car park and used at least every two weeks on dry days during the winter to keep things running and in optimal condition. The car was recently treated to a full valet by Spotless Mobile, which counts Ferrari dealers such as Joe Macari among its clientele.

As you would expect from a young, low-mileage car, the bodywork remains in excellent condition. There are no dents, dings or scuffs on the panels, and the striking Blu Tour de France paint has a smooth and glossy appearance all around the car. Scuderia shields are present on the front wings, and the car rides on the five-spoke 20-inch alloys. They are in great shape, with only some kerbing damage on the nearside front wheel.

The car is also equipped with the desirable panoramic glass roof and suspension lift, along with a host of other options detailed below, which the seller was advised would have resulted in an original purchase price of close to £300,000.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed with a combination of Blu Sterling for the primary leather, and Cuoio secondary leather for the seat centre panels and door card accents. All the upholstery is in superb condition, showing signs of only very light use. The electrically adjustable front seats feature lumbar support positioning, memory settings, and heating. They also have the ‘Daytona’ style stripes and are accented with Extra Campionario Giallo stitching.

The Blu Sterling leather extends to the dashboard and steering wheel, with the latter also finished with carbon-fibre trim and LED shift lights. Factory-fitted equipment includes dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors, front and rear cameras, and the touch-screen media system with DAB digital radio and satellite navigation.

This FF has been looked after exclusively by HR Owen from new, benefitting from the Ferrari 7-year service programme that expires in May 2022. This is in effect free servicing for the next two years, save for wear and tear items. Additionally, the new owner can opt to extend the warranty once they have taken delivery of the car. The last scheduled maintenance was carried out in March 2019 at 16,708 miles, with all work done to the manufacturer specifications. It was recently due for another annual service, but due to Covid-19, this has been postponed.

Its most recent MOT test was on 9 July 2019 at 17,886 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories. This was only its second MOT test, and as you would expect, the previous year’s result was also a clean pass with no warnings or alerts. The wheels are shod in a set of Pirelli P Zero tyres in size 245/35 ZR20 at the front and 295/35 ZR20 at the rear, which all have more than 3mm of tread remaining.

This Ferrari FF is an outstanding grand tourer, presented in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Once business is back to normal, it would benefit from booking in the service due, and refurbishment of one wheel, but otherwise this car wants for nothing. It really is a Ferrari that could be used every day if desired, but one that is still an event to drive even if kept only for weekends or special occasions.
