2015 FERRARI F12 N-LARGO BY NOVITEC

This Ferrari F12 N-Largo by Novitec Rosso is an attention-grabbing take on the marque’s flagship supercar, which incorporates a raft of functional and cosmetic modifications, and now has a truly larger-than-life presence. Under the bonnet is the Tipo F140C 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12, with ECU tuning to 770bhp, coupled to the seven-speed dual-clutch F1 transaxle with paddle shift. The odometer shows 12,739 km from new.

The second of just 15 examples of the N-Largo produced at huge expense by Novitec, its most obvious change over the standard F12 is the complete ‘widebody’ carbon-fibre body kit. It also has bespoke carbon-fibre engine covers, as well as carbon-fibre for the sill extensions, door mirror caps, bonnet insert, rain light cover, tail light surrounds, air intake and brake duct covers, the front grille, and the rear wing.

Other changes include smoked Novitec tail light lenses, bespoke Novitec NF5 forged split-rim alloy wheels, and a lowering spring kit for the original suspension. It also features a custom Novitec exhaust system with valve control, which the manufacturer says gives the 6.3-litre V12 the aural character of a classic F1 car under acceleration. The claimed top speed of the F12 N-Largo is 350 km/h (217mph).

This European-specification F12 left the gates in Maranello finished in the special triple-layer hue of Rosso Berlinetta. It was first registered in August 2013 in the Czech Republic, and later in Germany. The current owner acquired the car in 2018, having it exported to the UK and re-registered here on 1 November that year. In 2019, it was treated to a matt green paint spray-on wrap, with the only evidence of the factory colour now visible under the bonnet and boot lid. It has only covered around 120 km since arriving in the UK.

Today, the car presents in superb order, with no evidence of any panel damage, and with its matt vinyl wrap still in great shape. The Rosso Berlinetta paintwork beneath was also in excellent condition prior to being covered. Its Novitec wheels are in excellent condition, with no scuffs or chips, in a 21-inch fitment at the front and 22-inch at the rear.

The interior is trimmed in a stunning mix of Cuoio leather and Alcantara, with the former used for the door cards, seat bolsters and headrest sections, and the latter for the seat centre panels, lower dashboard, centre console, and luggage cover. There is red contrast stitching used throughout, and the ‘Novitec Rosso’ motif is embossed on the headrests.

The car is equipped with the carbon-fibre racing seats, and also has the carbon-fibre central bridge, air vent surrounds, and Driver Zone with LED shift lights and carbon-fibre paddles. A yellow rev counter, red seat belts, and carbon-fibre door sill covers round off the interior specification; while a plaque in the centre confirms its ‘Number 02’ build status. Overall, the cabin is clearly in outstanding condition, with the only blemish noticeable being a small mark on the glove box, which may well clean off before it is handed over. There are no known electrical faults, and no warning lights on the instrument display.

Its last scheduled maintenance was in February 2020 at 12,651 km, which comprised a full service and renewal of the ancillary drive belts at Joe Macari in London. During this work, the air filters and pollen filters were also replaced, along with the brake fluid.

Prior to this, services are on record from June 2016 at 10,618 km by Ferrari Nuremberg in Germany, and in June 2015 at 9,711 km at Ferrari Prague in the Czech Republic. Both of these visits were engine oil services that included fresh brake fluid.

The vendor states that the car will have an MOT test prior to handover to the next owner, so that it comes with a fresh 12-month certificate. The most recent test currently on record was on 16 October 2019 at 12,622 km - incorrectly noted as being in miles by the MOT tester - which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels are shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres at the front and Continental SportContact items at the rear.

Accompanying the car is the original leather book wallet, plus all of the original user guides, and the Ferrari service booklet.

This Ferrari F12 N-Largo by Novitec Rosso is an unashamedly bold reinterpretation of the contemporary super GT, fitted with an arresting widebody kit in carbon-fibre, a power upgrade, and refinished in a custom spray-on wrap. Not a car for the shy and retiring, this bespoke F12 is as thrilling to drive as it is attention-grabbing to behold, all the while accompanied by an incredible enhanced V12 soundtrack.
