2015 AUDI RS6 AVANT - LITCHFIELD STAGE 2

This Audi RS6 Avant is an immensely powerful yet practical family wagon, which features Litchfield and Akrapovic upgrades, and which is presented in superb condition throughout. Under the bonnet is a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, tuned to 720bhp with a Stage 2 conversion, with Quattro all-wheel drive via an eight-speed automatic transmission. The odometer shows just 26,401 miles from new.

First registered in April 2015, there are three previous registered keepers on the log book. The seller acquired the car just over three years ago, and immediately took the car to Litchfield where he spent £7,000 on upgrades. The Stage 2 engine work includes an ECU remap, improved boost control, and a new K&N air filter. It also incorporates revised ignition control, with variable valve timing and fuel maps. It is rounded off with a full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system with carbon tailpipe trims, which uses the original Audi valve control software.

The car was specified from the factory with the 21-inch alloy wheels and, more significantly, the powerful ceramic brake discs - an option costing approximately £10,000 on top of the list price. 

Its bodywork remains in superb condition, with no panel damage, while the Daytona Grey paint finish is also in great shape. The seller notes two small stone chips on the bonnet near the offside, as well as a small scratch on the rear bumper near the boot aperture. As is evident from the photo gallery below, the car presents beautifully, and features the RS silver mirror caps as well as rear privacy glass. It rides on the 21-inch alloy wheels painted in gloss black with a diamond-cut finish, which are pristine.

In the cabin, the front and rear seats are trimmed in black Valcona leather, with honeycomb quilting in the centre panels, and accented by white contrast stitching throughout. There is no damage or stains on the material, and only modest wear on the side bolsters, commensurate with the low mileage. High-gloss carbon inlays are used for the centre tunnel trim, dashboard strip, and the door card finishers.

This RS6 has superb maintenance history, with annual visits to an Audi main dealer without fail. Its last scheduled maintenance was in June 2020 at 26,069 miles, with a full service and brake fluid renewal carried out at Audi Tetbury. The two previous most recent services were in February 2019 at 24,073 miles, and in April 2018 at 21,822 miles - and the coil packs were replaced during the latter.

The most recent MOT test was on 8 June 2020 at 26,068 miles, when it achieved a first-time pass with no advisories - as it also did on the previous two annual tests. The wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres all round, which the seller states are in excellent condition with ample tread.

Accompanying the car are all of the original handbooks, the digital service history printout from Audi, previous invoices, as well as the tool kit and keys. While the Akrapovic system is fitted, the original Audi sports exhaust remains with the car and is also included in the sale.

This Audi RS6 Avant is a vastly capable high-performance family car, combining a versatile cabin and load bay with ballistic outright pace. The standard RS6 is seriously fast, but with the Litchfield Stage 2 upgrade and the optional OEM ceramic brakes, the acceleration and stopping power of this car are even more impressive. With the Akrapovic exhaust unleashing the aural character of the twin-turbocharged V8, this is a very well-presented estate that would make an exciting daily driver, or a fine companion for longer-distance road trips.
