This Audi RS4 is a smartly presented and well-maintained example of an acclaimed high-performance estate car. Under the bonnet lies a 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 444bhp and 317lb-ft of torque, channelled to all four wheels via the seven-speed dual-clutch S-Tronic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer reads 68,330 miles.

Initially registered on 2 January 2015, this UK-market RS4 has been in the hands of the current enthusiast vendor for the past two-and-a-half years, with two previous keepers before this. It remains in original condition throughout, save for the addition of a characterful Akrapovic exhaust system, fitted at a cost of around £5,500.

Finished in the subtle hue of Mythos Black, this RS4’s bodywork is in good condition for the age and mileage. The front end shows some stone chips across the bonnet and bumper, most noticeably under the passenger headlight where the lacquer has been broken. A small parking ding is also visible on the driver’s door, while the bottom left of the rear diffuser is slightly scuffed. The paintwork otherwise presents smartly, with only minor imperfections as shown in the photo gallery.

The vendor notes that the carbon-fibre left-hand exhaust pipe tip is slightly loose due to missing clips, but the main exhaust sections are perfectly secure. It rides on the original 20-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, which would benefit from refurbishment due to some small kerbing marks and flaking paint.

The Audi’s subtle colour scheme continues inside the cabin, where the black leather upholstery remains in fine condition across the front electrically adjustable and heated seats, as well as the rear seats. There are light signs of use visible on the front seat bolsters, but both the steering wheel and gear lever present well with no heavy wear. The Audi multimedia infotainment system remains in full working order, while the vendor notes that the silver dashboard inlays have a few minor scratches in places. Some signs of use are visible in the rear carpets and boot floor mat, commensurate with the practical and family-focused nature of this high-performance Audi.

The most recent service was carried out by Portsmouth Audi at 67,315 miles in October 2020. This saw the brake fluid and oil replaced, and prior to this the same garage carried out an oil service in April 2019 at 54,624 miles. All of the spark plugs were also replaced while the car was undergoing an MOT in December 2020.

Other services were carried out in August 2018 at 47,052 miles by Portsmouth Audi, in September 2017 at 38,635 miles by Victoria Audi, and the first service at 20,163 miles by Lincoln Audi in May 2016. Last year, the Audi’s brake discs were replaced on all four corners, and new pads were fitted in 2020.

The most recent MOT test was on 15 December 2020 at 68,294 miles. This was a first-time pass, with an advisory noting only slight weeping or wear to the front shock absorbers. The wheels are shod in matching Pirelli P Zero tyres all round, which are in as-new condition having just been fitted to the car.

Accompanying the car are all of the original handbooks, plus the first aid kit, both original keys, as well as the valet key. Online service history is accessed through the MyAudi app.

Offering space, pace and sophisticated design, this well-maintained Audi RS4 is a great example of the B8-generation model. Offered for sale with a strong maintenance history and a strong specification, it should prove to be a reliable and exciting daily driver, as well suited to fun weekend outings as it is the regular commute or long-distance holiday road trip.
