2014 VOLKSWAGEN GOLF (MK7) GTI - PERFORMANCE PACK

This 2014 Volkswagen Golf (Mk7) GTI is a great example of the popular hot hatch, with the optional Performance Pack and very low mileage. Under the bonnet sits the 227bhp turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four, coupled with the six-speed manual transmission. The odometer currently indicates 15,339 miles from new.

First registered in March 2014, this Golf has been with its current keeper for one year, who notes the car will be reverted to its original registration plates prior to handover. Fitted with the optional Performance Pack, this GTI has a 10bhp power boost over the standard car, along with upgraded brakes and a limited-slip differential. This particular car was also fitted with the Winter, Convenience and Mirror Packs, alongside optional 19-inch ‘Santiago’ alloy wheels, carbon interior trim, and a Dynaudio sound system.

The bodywork of this GTI is all in excellent shape, and the condition of the original Deep Black Pearl paintwork has been described as excellent. There are no stone chips on the front end and the electric folding mirrors, headlight lenses and body trims are all in great shape. One of the 19-inch alloy wheels has a small graze, but the wheels will be refurbished prior to handover.

Inside, the heated black leather seats are in great condition, with just some light creasing to the base panels. The multi-function steering wheel and 'golf ball' gear knob both present well. The rear leather is in good shape, with the back seats also benefiting from factory-fitted privacy glass to keep the cabin cooler. It is equipped with parking sensors and cruise control, in addition to the Dynaudio sound system, and no electrical faults have been detected.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in December 2020 at 12,689 miles, where technicians at Hayselden Barnsley Volkswagen changed the engine oil, filter, spark plugs, differential oil and brake fluid, before performing a body check and general inspection.

The most recent MOT test was on 11 August 2020 at 12,390 miles, which resulted in clean pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels come wrapped with Pirelli tyres, all with around 5mm of tread remaining. Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks and service book, along with the full toolkit.
