2014 PORSCHE 911 (991) GT3

This 2014 Porsche 911 is a superb example of the 991 GT3, introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013. The vehicle features a 3.8-litre direct fuel injection flat-six engine producing 475bhp and boasting a specially developed crankshaft and valve train. It can rev all the way to 9,000rpm, thanks to titanium connecting rods and forged pistons, and will hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. This powerhouse is teamed with a PDK double-clutch automatic gearbox with paddle shift and rear-wheel steering. The odometer currently indicates 15,500 miles from new.

First registered in July 2014, this 991 GT3 has been in the vendor’s possession for nearly two and a half years. The vehicle has 3+ keepers registered in the logbook, who have taken great care to keep the mileage down and the car in tip top condition.

The S2 Rhodium Silver Metallic paintwork remains excellent, with the vendor noting it’s one of their favourite aspects of the vehicle. The owner has reported some very minor chips to the nearside wheels and a minor kerb scratch to the nearside rear, though the 20-inch alloys present very well overall, giving passers by a clear look at the car’s striking red brake callipers and monstrous discs.

Inside, the driver is welcomed by GT3 badging in the door kicks before being surrounded by a tasteful leatherette trim, combined with leather and alcantara seats, which present in excellent condition with no signs of wear to the usual culprit areas. The interior is in superb condition overall, with no scratches to any controls and no electrical issues recorded.

The last service was undertaken under 5,000 miles ago in October 2018, where the technicians at Porsche Centre Reading changed the engine oil, oil seals, filters, air cleaner, v-belt, brake fluid and spark plugs, before checking the ancillary mounts, suspension and running gear. A rear brake light cluster was also replaced in June 2019 under the vehicle’s factory warranty.

The most recent MOT test was on 2 April 2019, which resulted in a clean pass. The next test is due by 1 November 2020, as the vehicle was granted a six-month MOT extension due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The vehicle sits on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres all round, with the vendor reporting 4mm of tread left on both fronts, 4.5mm left on the nearside rear and 5.5mm remaining on the offside rear.

Accompanying the vehicle are the corresponding Porsche handbooks and service book, kept in the original leather wallet. Also present is the official Porsche toolkit.
