2014 PORSCHE 911 (991) GT3 - 4,468 MILES

This Porsche 911 (991) GT3 is a sensational sports car, which brings together blistering performance and civilised usability. Presented in outstanding condition and with a full main dealer service history from new, this low-mileage specimen is a fantastic example of one of the marque’s greatest modern hits.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 3.8-litre, direct injected flat-six producing 468bhp at a heady 8,250rpm, it will rocket from 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 196mph, with gear changes being taken care of by the seven-speed semi-automatic PDK transmission with paddle shifters. The odometer displays just 4,468 miles from new.

Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2013, the 991-generation 911 GT3 continued the traditions of its ancestors, offering vastly improved performance over the majority of its stablemates, thanks to its 9000rpm engine, torque vectoring and rear-wheel steering system, which enhances its low speed agility, while making it more stable above 50mph.

First registered on 31 October 2014, this UK-market right-hand drive example was specified with handsome Rhodium Silver paintwork and a black leather and Alcantara interior. Optional equipment includes a set of centre-locking 20-inch forged alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control and the front axle lift system, for greater on-road usability.

Its logbook lists just one prior keeper who owned the car for 4 years, and the car is now offered for sale by the trade. Evidently pampered from new, this GT3’s body and paintwork are in excellent condition, with smooth, straight panels and no signs of stone chips to the bright Rhodium Silver finish, even on more exposed areas such as the lower front bumper and the electrically adjustable heated door mirrors.

The exterior trim presents similarly well, and the badging is in great shape, as are the light lenses, which are free of any scratches or hazing. The car rides on a set of centre-locking 20-inch wheels, which present extremely well and have no signs of damage to their satin platinum finishes.

On stepping into the cabin, you are met by a pair of electrically adjustable, heated ‘comfort-spec’ seats. Featuring smooth black leather bolsters with silver stitching and black Alcantara centres, they remain in superb condition, with full, plump padding and few signs of wear.

Bright red seatbelts provide a vibrant contrast, while an Alcantara-wrapped Sport Design steering wheel helps to put the driver in full control of this potent performance car. Black Alcantara also covers the headlining and extends to the door cards, where it trims to inner door pulls and arm rests.

Factory fitted equipment includes dual-zone climate control, the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system with navigation module and Sound Package Plus, Welcome Home Function and a switchable sports exhaust system.

All of the interior buttons, switches and electrical items are described as working without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard. Cared for by Porsche main dealers from new, this GT3 is in exemplary mechanical health. Its last routine maintenance was carried out on 19 September 2019 at 4,228 miles by Porsche Centre East London. This entailed an oil change and filter change, replacement of the spark plugs, drive belts and brake fluid.

In line with Porsche’s recommendations, the car had one intermediate service prior to this, which was carried out in January 2017 at 1,845 miles, again by Porsche Centre East London. Its last MOT test was conducted on 3 May 2019 at 3,994 miles, where it (perhaps unsurprisingly) received a clean, first-time pass without a single advisory. Its next test is due on or before the 2nd of November 2020, owing to a 6-month Covid extension of the previous certificate.

All four wheels are shod in high performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres, which the vendor describes as being in excellent condition and with at least 5mm of usable tread remaining. Accompanying the car are its original handbook, stamped service book and invoices for its previous services. Both keys are also included, as is a genuine Porsche ‘Tequipment’ indoor car cover.

Selected by Evo Magazine as their Car of The Year in 2013, the 991-generation Porsche 911 GT3 is a spectacular modern performance car, which exemplifies the marque’s dedication to quality, and its GT division’s devotion to offering thrilling driving sensations.

Described by the vendor as being in mint condition, this low mileage GT3 is likely to appeal to collectors and enthusiastic drivers alike, while its comfort seats and front suspension lifter also make it a reasonable candidate for long journey and daily use.

All UK-registered cars and motorbikes on Collecting Cars are run through an online HPI check. This vehicle shows no insurance database markers for damage or theft, and has no finance owing.
