CONDITION

• No body damage. XCP professional rust protection underseal has also been applied every year to keep the chassis and underbody in great shape.
• The paintwork is reported to be in excellent condition, with one stone chip on the bonnet noted by the vendor. It has been kept clean and dry, and detailed during the most recent ownership.
• Its half-leather seats are in superb order, with only minor signs of use and no unsightly wear or discolouration. The rest of the interior trim also presents very well, including the Momo steering wheel.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 17 November 2020 at 24,876 miles, which was a first-time pass with no advisories. This Defender has never failed an annual MOT, and has never even received a single advisory.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The most recent service was in March 2021 at 25,088 miles, when Resto Rovers in Surrey carried out an engine oil and filter change, fitted a new air filter and diesel filter, adjusted the handbrake and greased the propshaft joints, and fully inspected the suspension, brakes and steering.
• In 2018, Bowler carried out a ‘fluids and filters’ service, replaced the rear main oil seal and intermediate shaft, fitted new brake pads, and renewed the swivel seals and a coolant hose.
• It was serviced in September 2015 at 6,033 miles by Harwoods Pulborough, and in August 2014 Harwoods Basingstoke performed the PDI.
