2014 FERRARI 458 SPIDER

This 2014 Ferrari 458 Spider is a great example of the marque’s open-top supercar, presented in a timeless factory colour scheme, and with single family ownership history. It is powered by a 4.5-litre naturally aspirated V8, producing 562bhp at 9,000rpm and coupled to a seven-speed dual-clutch F1 automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer displays 28,600 miles.

Built as an Italian-market car in 2014, but not registered there, it was instead purchased and first registered in Russia in June 2015. It was then in single family ownership, prior to being imported to the UK and registered with the DVLA in April 2021 by the trade. It remains covered by its seven-year maintenance plan until 2022.

Owing to its considerate use, this 458’s bodywork and original Nero Daytona metallic paintwork are in excellent condition, with only minor imperfections including very small scuff marks on the bottom of the front bumper. All of the exterior trim and badging – including the recessed Scuderia wing shields – is similarly smart, and the light lenses are free of any chips or scratches. The car rides on its original 20-inch five-spoke forged alloy wheels, which house a set of carbon ceramic brake discs and eye-catching red callipers. All four wheels are in great shape, with only one minor scuff on the rim of the front passenger-side item.

Stepping inside, the cabin is trimmed in Nero leather, accented by red stitching and dark silver trim. Featuring red ‘Cavallino’ motifs embroidered on their headrests and matching seatbelts, both of the heated and electrically adjustable sports seats are in very good order, with only minor creases on their outer bolsters, commensurate with this 458’s mileage. Ahead, the steering wheel is wrapped in matching black leather, while factory-fitted equipment includes a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and the all-important front suspension lifter. All of the car’s electrical items, including its folding aluminium roof, work without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

The car is tentatively booked in for its free sixth-year service at H.R. Owen on 13 June, though this could be pushed back slightly if the next owner wishes. This service will include renewal of the engine oil and filter, pollen filter, air filter, and brake fluid. The gearbox oil and power steering fluid will also be changed, the wheel alignment will be checked and adjusted if necessary, and a full inspection carried out. It will be eligible for its free seventh-year service in 2022, and the vendor states that it is also a candidate for an extended warranty.

The most recent routine maintenance was an engine oil and filter service, which was carried out in August 2020 at 42,465 km (26,387 miles) by Ferrari Moscow. Prior to this, the same dealer serviced the car in June 2019 at 38,805 km, which also included replacement of the ancillary belts, brake fluid, air filter and pollen filter, as well as the engine oil and oil filter.

This 458 will be accompanied by its full document pack, as well as its original tool kit, cover, tyre pump and battery charger, as seen in the photo gallery. Confirms of its factory specification is also shown in the screenshot from the Modis dealer system.

This Ferrari 458 Spider is a well-maintained convertible supercar, which was recently acquired by the trade from single family ownership. Completely unmodified and finished in an elegant colour combination; it will make a strong addition to any collector’s stable, and is ready to thrill on the road.
