2014 AUDI S3

This 2014 Audi S3 is a highly capable all-rounder, which benefits from a high factory specification and has been fitted with a number of performance-boosting upgrades. Under the bonnet sits a turbocharged 2.0-litre inline-four engine, which has been given an APR Stage 1 remap and now produces 378bhp, coupled with a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer currently indicates 68,355 miles from new.

First registered in July 2014, this S3 has just one owner from new, who has cherished the car for the last six years and has maintained the car meticulously. It has been fitted with a number of modifications, which the owner reports make the car immensely fast without affecting the understated styling. As well as the remap, this S3 has been fitted with a Sachs organic clutch, KW Variant One adjustable coilovers, a Scorpion cat-back non-resonated exhaust, Powerflex adjustable bushes, a K&N air filter, Vagbremtechnic brake discs and Ferodo pads – all at a cost of around £6,000.

The bodywork is in good order, with flush shut lines, smooth panels and no serious accident damage. However, one of the wings was replaced due to a relatively small scuff. The Crystal Black paintwork is described as being in very good condition overall, with just a few minor stone chips on the front bumper, as well as one on the bonnet. The body trims, headlight lenses and twin-exhaust tips appear in good order, while the vehicle rides on the original set of 18-inch alloy wheels, which have only minor grazes in a few places on the rims.

Moving inside, the seats of this S3 are trimmed with black leather, which present with some very minor wear to the bolsters from entering and exiting the vehicle. The vendor has also reported some light wear to the contact points on the steering wheel, though the manual gear knob, dashboard trim and door cards present in excellent order. This S3 boasts a high factory specification, which includes privacy glass, heated folding wing mirrors, auto-dimming rear-view mirrors and heated seats. The cabin also comes with Audi’s Technology Pack, featuring a Bang & Olufsen sound system, an SD card reader, a DVD player, wireless internet and a widescreen satellite navigation screen.

The last service was undertaken in June 2020 at 66,316 miles, where Volkswagen Group specialist Awesome GTI changed the engine oil and filters, before replacing the thermostat, upgrading the bushes and re-gassing the air conditioning system. Prior to this, Awesome GTI carried out a Haldex service and routine maintenance in January 2020, using upgraded Millers Nano oil and Racingline 300 DOT brake fluid, and in July 2019 they fitted the car’s clutch, suspension, exhaust and engine upgrades at 61,575 miles.

The most recent MOT test was on 2 December 2020 at 68,344 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. The wheels come wrapped with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, which were fitted around 18 months ago, have covered less than 8,000 miles, and are reported to have 5mm of tread remaining all round.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manual, sales brochure, service book and corresponding invoices, as well as the original toolkit and two keys.
