2014 AUDI RS4 AVANT

This Audi RS4 Avant is a powerful and refined estate car, presented in very good order throughout, and benefiting from comprehensive main dealer service history. Under the bonnet is the 444bhp 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, with Quattro four-wheel drive via a seven-speed dual-clutch S-Tronic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows 49,380 miles.

Remaining original and unmodified, this RS4 was first registered on 5 June 2014, and has four previous keepers on the log book. It has been with the current enthusiast owner since December 2019.

The bodywork presents very well, with no evidence of any prior damage, while the vendor describes the Phantom Black paint as being in good condition, with only minor age-related marks in the common areas, and stone chips to the front end. It had a recent two-stage machine polished by a detailing company, and still looks glossy today. All of the body trims are present and correct, including the large mesh grille and the signature RS silver mirror caps. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, which have been fully refurbished and powder-coated during the current ownership, and are all free of kerbing marks.

Inside, the seats are upholstered in a combination of black leather for the outer panels and bolsters, and Alcantara for the centre sections. The front driver’s seat shows some minor wear on the bolster commensurate with the age and mileage, but overall the leather is in great shape - and as with the exterior, the cabin remains all original. There are carbon inlays across the dashboard and door panels, and around the gear shifter console, while factory-fitted features including satellite navigation, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, heated mirrors, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control. There are no switchgear faults or electrical foibles. At the back, the load bay is protected with a rubber liner, and there is also a handy 12-volt power supply socket.

This car has a comprehensive main dealer history from new, and it has just received an oil service, pollen filter and inspection at Audi Reading on 13 January 2021. Prior to this, its most recent services on record were in November 2019 at 42,574 miles - which comprised an interim service, new engine oil, new brake fluid, and a new nearside front wheel arch stone guard - and in November 2018. The latter included fresh oil for the engine, transmission and differential, plus a new air cleaner element and pollen filter, with both the 2019 and 2018 services carried out at Jack Barclay Audi.

The most recent MOT test was on 7 January 2021 at 49,346 miles, which resulted in first-time pass with no advisories whatsoever. In fact, this RS4 has always passed its annual inspection at the first attempt, and has never had a single defect or issue noted. All of the tyres are matching Dunlop SP Sport Maxx GT items, and remain in good order.

Accompanying the car is the full complement of original handbooks, plus two keys. A Vodafone Protect and Connect Category 5 tracker device is installed, and the original tools and jack are still present.
