2013 NISSAN (R35) GT-R PREMIUM EDITION

This Nissan GT-R is an unmodified example of the cutting-edge contemporary supercar, presented in very smart overall condition and with only two owners from new. Under the bonnet is the hand-built 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V6, which sends 545bhp to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer currently displays 59,950 miles.

The GT-R received critical acclaim at its launch, representing incredible value for money, with giant-killing pace, a thoroughly engaging driving experience, and surprising practicality – all for a fraction of the price of its high-performance competitors.

First registered in April 2013, this R35 GT-R is offered for sale by its second owner, who acquired it six years ago and has enjoyed it as intended – though its launch control system has never been engaged and it has never seen a race track. The car has been kept in storage for the last three years, during which time it has been driven every month to keep it in good running order, and its tyre air pressure and battery charge have been kept topped up. It is fresh from a major service in March 2021 at renowned GT-R specialist Litchfield Motors.

Its aggressive bodywork has previously suffered from some minor damage, which has been professionally repaired to a high standard. This included damage to the panels on the passenger-side of the car and to the front splitter, which has since been replaced. The seller also notes that there are some very small dents and fading on the rear splitter. However, this damage was not serious enough to merit any insurance markers being placed on the car, and it remains HPI clear.

The Gun Grey Metallic paintwork presents very well with a smooth and glossy appearance around the car, though there are a few marks in line with its age and mileage, including stone chips on the front edge of the bonnet, slight blemishes in the paint on the front of the driver’s door, and a fine scratch on the passenger door. This GT-R rides on the correct set of 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, which are in generally good order but feature some chips and bubbles in the lacquer.

Moving inside, the cabin is trimmed in black leather with red accents, and presents very well. Both of the heated Recaro sports seats are in good shape, with only some very minor creasing to their upholstery and wear on the driver’s outer bolster. These are electrically adjustable and provide great support and comfort. The rest of the interior trim is in excellent condition, and its dials, buttons and switches are unmarked. All of the interior controls and electrical items work without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard. The car benefits from a reversing camera, music storage and Bluetooth connectivity, and is fitted with an aftermarket dashcam.

This Japanese supercar’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in March 2021 at 59,755 miles by performance specialist Litchfield Motors. This included an engine oil and filter change, coolant, spark plugs and four-wheel alignment. Prior to this, Litchfield undertook a service in June 2020, renewing the engine oil and filter, coolant, undertray bolts and gearbox sump, and carrying out a four-wheel alignment.

Litchfield also performed an oil service in April 2019 at 59,341 miles, when they also replaced the exhaust brackets. In March 2018 at 58,644 miles, Litchfield technicians replaced the engine oil, oil filter, front splitter, and rear brake discs and pads with uprated versions from Alcon.

During the vendor’s six years of ownership, the air filters and front and rear brake discs and pads have been replaced with higher-performance items (Alcon for the brakes), and the spark plugs and brake lines have also been changed by Litchfield at their recommendation. The car is otherwise unmodified. The car comes with two keys and tracker fobs which enable keyless entry to both doors and the surprisingly large 315-litre boot.

This GT-R’s last MOT test was conducted on 16 October 2020 at 59,555 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass. All four of its wheels are shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres, which are around four years old and remain in excellent condition, with between 5.75mm and 6mm of usable tread remaining.

The car will be accompanied by its original owner’s manual and stamped service book, as well as documentation for its tracking system.
