EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• First announced in August 2012, the range-topping Abarth 595 Competizione model features uprated front and rear suspension dampers, xenon headlights and diamond-cut 17-inch alloy wheels, as well as a more vocal ‘Monza’ exhaust system, cross-drilled brake discs, and supportive sport seats.
• This example is finished in the eye-catching hue of Rosso Sfrontato, with black cloth-covered seats accented by white stripes and stitching.
• The car is almost entirely standard, save for the Abarth decals on its flanks, roof and bonnet, and its smoked side repeater lenses.
• It will be supplied with all of its original handbooks contained in the document wallet, as well as its stamped service book and a number of invoices for its past maintenance.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• The Rosso Sfrontato paintwork is thought to be all original and is in very good condition, with a glossy appearance around the car and only a few minor stone chips on the bonnet, in line with the car’s limited mileage.
• It rides on the correct set of 17-inch alloy wheels; however they would benefit from refurbishment given various kerbing marks and lacquer damage.
• Inside, the seats and trim items are in great shape, with only light signs of wear. The lid for the fuse box inside the passenger-side cubby / storage compartment is missing.
• The vendor notes that the digital odometer is flashing, which is a known issue in Fiats of this age, and is believed to have been caused by the battery going flat when the car was in storage between 2017 and 2021; however a Fiat dealer should be able to rectify this.
• The car’s last MOT test was a retest, which was conducted on 9 March 2021 at 26,845 miles after minor issues with the rear lights, exhaust and boot catch were rectified. This resulted in a pass with advisories noting a nail in the offside rear tyre and wear to the brake discs – though the vendor states these have since been rectified.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This 595 Competizione’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in July 2021 at 26,898 miles by C&K Motors, who performed a full service including a cambelt and water pump change.
• Prior to this, services were carried out in October 2017 at 24,302 miles and in August 2015.
