This Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is a smart and high-specification example of a deeply impressive contemporary supercar, boasting the perennially popular factory colour combination of Rosso Corsa with a black leather interior. Under the bonnet is the mighty 6.3-litre naturally aspirated F140 FC V12, producing 730bhp, driving the rear wheels via the seven-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission. An original left-hand drive example, it was specified from the factory with a range of desirable options, including the carbon-fibre driver zone, with LED shift lights in the steering wheel and carbon-fibre shift paddles, as well as carbon-fibre dashboard inlays. The black leather was extended along the centre tunnel and used for the headlining, while the rear firewall was specified in Alcantara. It features red stitching across the seats, dashboard and door cards, while the red seat belts provide another dash of colour. Convenience features include the AFS light system, parking camera, and suspension lifter.

Supplied to Dubai via Al Tayer Motors, it is understood to have had two previous owners in the UAE. There is one previous registered keeper on file in the UK since it arrived in May 2017, and the car is now offered by its second private UK owner.

Its bodywork and paint finish are in very good condition, as you would hope for, with very few imperfections around the car. The exterior features the sport sill covers, and black wing mirror inserts, as well as the Scuderia Ferrari wing shields. Blemishes noted by the seller include some minor stone chips around the lower front bumper and air intakes, as well as a light scuff on top of the front lip spoiler. There is also a small chip in the paint on the trailing edge of the driver’s door, and on the bonnet. The car rides on the 20-inch five-spoke Speedline wheels, which have a few minor scuffs, so would benefit from refurbishment in due course. It has red painted Brembo brake calipers over the carbon-ceramic discs.

Inside, the comfortable and supportive seats feature full electric adjustment and heating, and they are embroidered with special red stitching as well as ‘Cavallino’ emblems on the headrests. The seller does note that some of the trim on the passenger door card and rear panel shelf has become partially unstuck from its backing, but this is not immediately noticeable. Factory-fitted equipment includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring, electrochromic mirrors, and the JBL Professional audio system.

This F12 Berlinetta has evidently been well maintained, and there are five services on record between the history file and Ferrari’s central database. The latter also shows that the car was covered under an extended five-year warranty until January 2018. Its most recent main service was in January 2018 at 10,862 miles (17,480 km), carried out by Joe Macari in London. This consisted of an engine oil service, with replacement of the brake discs and pads.

In May 2020 at 13,216 miles (21,269 km), the car visited Dick Lovett Ferrari in Swindon to diagnose a gear selector fault. As a result, the complete CCP transmission unit was replaced at a cost of more than £14,000.

The most recent MOT was carried out on 3 June 2020 at 13,216 miles during the transmission repair. It resulted in a first-time pass with the advisories being slight perishing of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyre grooves - so these would all benefit from replacement before using at speed on the road.

Accompanying the car is a complete book pack, including the maintenance record and all user guides, as well as the factory-supplied space-saver spare wheel, tool kit, and two keys.
