2013 AUDI RS5 COUPE

This Audi RS5 is a highly capable and eminently usable performance car, presented in fantastic condition and with low mileage from new. Under the bonnet is the 444bhp naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 engine, with Quattro four-wheel drive via the seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission. The odometer displays just 39,024 miles from new.

First registered on 11 April 2013, this right-hand drive RS5 is finished in the rare factory hue of Suzuka Grey, with a black leather interior and contrasting grey stitching. It was also specified with the Sound and Convenience packages, providing enhanced audio courtesy of a Bang & Olufsen stereo system and great occupant comfort thanks to electrically adjustable front seats with memory settings for the driver and electric folding and dimming door mirrors.

There are three previous registered keepers on the log book, and the most recent private owner acquired the car in August 2017.

The bodywork and uncommon Suzuka Grey paintwork are both described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, with no known bodywork damage and only a few stone chips to the front end, which is commensurate with the car’s age and road use.

All of the badging is bright and undamaged, as are the light lenses, which are free of any chips, cracks or hazing and the rubber seals are all in good order. The car rides on its original set of 19-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels, which are in great shape.

Inside, the RS5 upholds Audi’s reputation for designing high-quality cabins. Included as part of the Convenience Package, the electrically adjustable heated front seats are in superb order, as are the two rear passenger seats, with all four being clad in black leather and Stone Grey piping. The padding on the front seats has softened slightly and the leather covering the side bolsters is very slightly creased, however the upholstery remains supple and smooth throughout.

In keeping with the RS5’s performance credentials, carbon-fibre inlays are present on the door cards and around the automatic gear selector, adding a racy accent to the interior. Elsewhere, the cabin is in very good condition, with the black carpeting being protected by a set of RS5-branded floor mats, and with the driver’s mat featuring a hard-wearing heel plate.

Factory equipment includes climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and adaptive xenon headlights. The included Convenience Package also means that this RS5 is equipped with heated front seats, an auto-dimming rear view mirror and door mirrors, while the optional Sound Package provides a Bang & Olufsen stereo system, MMI Navigation Plus, MMI Radio Plus, as well as a DVD player and DAB radio. All of the interior electrical items, buttons and switches work without fault and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

A highly reliable performance coupe, this RS5 has been routinely serviced when required. Most recently, it underwent an interval service at Birmingham Audi on 9 September 2019 at 29,704 miles. Prior to this, Tyneside Audi performed an Interval Inspection in July 2017 at 16,968 miles, and York Audi saw the car for its first Inspection Service in January 2015 at 9,757 miles.

A digital record of work completed also includes the recall campaign in 2013 plus various items attended to under warranties throughout its life to date. Almost entirely standard, the only non-factory items fitted to this RS5 are a pair of K&N panel filters, helping the engine to breathe more easily.

Its last MOT test was conducted on 11 May 2019 at 27,421 miles, when it secured a first-time pass. Advisories were issued for wear to both of the rear tyres, however the vendor states that they have since been replaced, and the car will be put through another MOT test prior to handover to the next owner. The Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres are in good condition, with approximately 5.5mm of usable tread remaining on the front items and 6.5mm left at the rear.

The car is accompanied by its Audi document wallet, which contains the original owner’s manuals, a printout of its Audi service record and a selection of invoices. The vendor is also including the key for the locking wheel nuts, a tyre inflation kit and the two original keys.

Providing daily usability, strong reliability and impressive performance, the Audi RS5 is a fantastic modern all-rounder. Presented in the lesser-seen hue of Suzuka Grey, this low-mileage example has been well cared-for from new, maintained exclusively by Audi main dealers, and is ready to provide its next owner with many more miles of enjoyment.
