2013 ALFA ROMEO 8C SPIDER

This Alfa Romeo 8C is a sensational open-top sports car, with an exotic powertrain, lightweight carbon-fibre bodywork, and quite simply one of the most beautiful Alfa designs among their post-war vehicles. Just 500 were built, and there are typically only ever a handful offered on the open market – arguably a measure of how much their owners cherish them. The car presented here is in fantastic overall condition and boasts very low mileage from new.

EQUIPMENT AND OPTIONS

• It is finished in the signature hue of Rosso Competizione with painted Quadrifoglio wing shields and a Charcoal leather interior.

• The car rides on its original set of 20-inch alloy wheels.
• This 8C Spider will be accompanied by its original Alfa Romeo car cover and its soft top closing pieces in their correct cases.

CONDITION

• There is no bodywork damage, and the Rosso Competizione paintwork is in very good overall condition. There are a few minor blemishes including a small stone chip on the front driver’s-side of the bonnet and additional stone chips on the driver’s-side of the car, though the majority of these are in the paint protection film.
• The rear passenger-side wheel has some minor chips and scuffs, but the alloys are otherwise pristine.
• Inside, the cabin is in excellent order, with some slight creases on the seats’ outer bolsters, and small marks on the passenger seat’s lower backrest and base.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was conducted on 28 April 2021 at 7,686, which resulted in a first-time pass. The tester erroneously noted that the horn was not working, but this is because he had missed the steering wheel-mounted buttons – and the horns are in perfect order. Advisories were issued for slight play in the nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint, a cut in the offside front outer tyre and for the handbrake being slightly inefficient on the offside rear wheel – all minor wear items that can be easily rectified.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car’s last routine service was carried out in November 2018 at 4,578 miles by Dick Lovett Swindon.
• Prior to this, it was serviced in March 2017 at 2,309 miles and in October 2015 at 1,193 miles, again by Dick Lovett Swindon.
