EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This Twizy is finished in a unique green paint finish with gold flake, and the modest interior features two tandem seats trimmed in a waterproof black vinyl.
• A chequered flag design polycarbonate/Lexan roof is fitted, as well as a racing Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel with a quick-release boss.
• Atop the dashboard sits the power box, which allows selection of ‘Eco’, ‘Normal’ and ‘Sport’ modes, as well as readouts for temperature, battery amps, torque and RPM.
• The standard equipment remains, including lockable storage compartments on the dashboard and behind the rear seat, a sound synthesiser, heated windscreen and opening half-doors.
• All aerodynamic elements are crafted from high-temperature pre-preg carbon-fibre, and many of its parts are from Formula One and Formula Two cars, including the magnesium wheels.
• The cherished registration ‘TW12 FLY’ is included in the sale.
• The car comes with its V5 and paperwork from Renault Finance regarding the battery lease, as well as documentation from Oakley Design.
• The battery is leased through Renault Finance at a cost of £55 per month, and the new owner will inherit the obligation to the lease costs as part of the sale.

CONDITION

• The car has no known bodywork damage.
• The green paintwork is in very good condition, with only a couple of minor blemishes visible upon close inspection, including a very small mark on the front panel near the offside front indicator, and some minor marking to the paintwork on the front valance and spoiler. There are also a few stone chips present to the front end of the vehicle, and a small part of the ‘Twizy’ vinyl lettering across the nose is starting to lift.
• The minimal interior is in good condition, with no visible wear to the seats and only modest signs of use on the steering wheel. There is some oxidisation to the exposed steering wheel bolts.
• The vehicle is in working order, with no known faults.
• The most recent MOT test was performed in October 2016 at 16,890 miles, when the car passed first time with an advisory stating no emissions slip was issued, due to the vehicle being electric. It will require a new MOT certificate before taking to the road again.
• The car last received a full service prior to being acquired by the current owner four years ago.

SUMMARY

A truly head-turning vehicle, this Renault Twizy by Oakley Design is a remarkably rare offering, being one of only five produced. Based on a quirky electric quadricycle, this would be a fun urban runabout or commuter, being exempt from both the ULEZ and Congestion Charge fees.
