This Range Rover 5.0 V8 Supercharged Autobiography is a potent and luxurious contemporary SUV, presented in a lesser-seen factory colour combination and in very smart overall condition. Under the bonnet is the 510bhp 5.0-litre supercharged V8, which drives all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, allowing this substantial 4x4 to sprint from 0-62mph in an impressive 5.4 seconds. The odometer displays 117,418 miles from new.

First registered on 21 September 2011, the car’s log book lists three prior keepers, however these were all the same individual, who moved it between his various business concerns. The current owner acquired the vehicle four years ago, and has covered around 20,000 miles since then, travelling throughout Scotland, Wales and Ireland, and even journeying through the Alps and the Pyrenees. However, they are now offering it for sale so they can focus on enjoying the other vehicles in their collection.

Today, this Range Rover’s bodywork remains in excellent condition, with flush shut lines and no evidence of any accident damage. The Galway Green metallic paintwork has a smooth and glossy appearance around the car, and the front bumper has recently been resprayed to remove a number of stone chips, though the drill holes for the standard-sized number plate have been left for the next owner to use. Elsewhere, there are some small stone chips on the bonnet and minor parking scuffs on the rear bumper, as well as a small area of bubbling on the rear passenger-side wheel arch, which is also lightly scratched.

The exterior trim presents well overall, and while the black plastic surrounding the driver’s door mirror is damaged, this would be relatively straightforward to replace. The car rides on a set of 20-inch alloy wheels with diamond-cut faces and gold details, which have been fully refurbished and are in great shape.

Moving inside, the cabin is upholstered in smooth black leather, which is in very good order throughout. Heated and cooled for maximum comfort, the seats are in excellent condition, and while there is some very minor wear towards the bottom of the driver’s side bolster, this is commensurate with the vehicle’s mileage. Piano Black trim appears on the dashboard and door cards, and is impressively free of any noticeable scratches or scuffs. All of the controls and buttons – including the switches for the electrically adjustable front seats – are unworn and in good working order.

Above, the light grey leather headlining helps to reflect additional light into the spacious cabin, and is in great shape. Factory-fitted equipment includes the heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, front and rear parking sensors, climate control, satellite navigation, cruise control, and a premium Harman/Kardon sound system. There are no known electrical faults, and no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

Offered in excellent mechanical health, this Range Rover’s most recent routine maintenance was an oil service, which was carried out at 115,000 miles by Lone Pine Garage. Prior to this, Barnwell Motor Engineering performed a major service in December 2018, which also included a software refresh. The seller notes that since they acquired the car at 97,000 miles, its oil has been changed five times, and the spark plugs were replaced in December 2018. While the car is currently showing a prompt for its next annual service, the seller will have this carried out before handover to the next owner.

In addition to general servicing, this luxury SUV has also had its Brembo brake discs and pads replaced, along with its front suspension struts. Furthermore, the gearbox has been flushed and the air-conditioning system has been serviced on an annual basis.

Well-preserved and almost entirely standard, this Range Rover’s thunderous soundtrack has been enhanced by the addition of a visually discreet stainless steel exhaust system, ensuring that it turns heads even before it roars into view.

Its latest MOT test was conducted on 20 November 2020 at 117,073 miles, which resulted in a clean, first-time pass. All four wheels are shod in Pirelli Scorpion Verde tyres in size 255/55 R20, which have covered just 2,000 miles since they were fitted and remain in very good condition. The car will be accompanied by all of its original owner’s manuals and its stamped service book.
