This Mercedes-Benz G350 Bluetec is an excellent example of the marque’s long-running 4x4, presented in very good condition and with impressive annual service history. Under the bonnet is the 3.0-litre Bluetec V6 diesel, producing 208bhp and 398lb ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic gearbox, while three differential locks and a low-range gearbox give the G350 serious off-roading capability. The odometer shows 96,352 miles from new.

Hand-built in Graz, Austria, this Geländewagen was first registered on 7 June 2011, with its logbook showing just two previous registered keepers from new. The seller has cherished and used the car as intended, enjoying around 78,000 miles behind the wheel during their six years of ownership.

The G-Wagen is a car that finds fans in every generation. Mercedes-Benz took a design conceived for military use and developed it into a civilian vehicle that now has a cult following around the world. It still has terrific road presence, while being a bona fide 4x4.

This G350 has never suffered from any accident damage, and its Designo Graphite Grey metallic paintwork is described by the seller as being in excellent condition, however there are some stone chips to the lower front grille and a couple of minor other areas have been touched in. The other exterior elements present equally well, with the door shuts, rubber seals, trim and headlight lenses all being in great shape. The car rides on its original 18-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, which were refurbished in 2019 and are still in impressive condition, with no signs of kerb damage or surface scratches.

Upholstered in black leather, this G350’s interior is remarkably well-kept. Specified from new with the Exclusive Pack, it also features a leather-clad instrument panel, illuminated door sills and synthetic suede headlining, adding an additional touch of class to this capable vehicle. The seller reports that all of the electrical items and switches are in full working order, including the heated seats and steering wheel, climate control and infotainment system. The car features a rear-view camera, a Harman Kardon surround-sound system, electric sunroof, ambient lighting, factory-fit rear privacy glass, and load compartment cover with cargo net. It has also been fitted with a discreet aftermarket Bluetooth music streamer.

This G-Class’ most recent scheduled maintenance was carried out on 11 June 2020 at 96,302 miles – less than one hundred miles ago – by Mercedes-Benz specialist SS Motors, comprising an engine oil and filter service, with renewal of the filter housing and the rear electric window linkage. Previous work was carried out on 15 May 2019 at 88,536 miles when the fan belt was replaced, and on 12 April 2019 at 88,212 miles, when a general service was carried out. In addition to regular servicing, the oil cooler and rear main seal were also replaced on 23 February 2016 at 43,563 miles, with updated parts to cure an oil leak.

Its last MOT test was conducted on 5 June 2020 at 96,302 miles, which it passed without a single advisory. Indeed, this G350 has an excellent history, having never failed an MOT test. The front wheels are fitted with Michelin tyres, while the rears are clad in Bridgestone items, which were fitted in 2018. All four tyres are described as being in good condition with plenty of tread.

A raft of documentation accompanies this G350, including its original handbooks and stamped service history record, plus all service receipts from 2014. It is also provided with its original spec sheet – showing a total new price of nearly £95,000 – as well as a full tool kit and two sets of keys.

This Mercedes-Benz G350 Bluetec is a well-maintained and smart example of the iconic 4x4, presented in excellent condition, which belies its age and mileage. A usable everyday vehicle, whether on the road or off it, its interior, paintwork and mechanical items are in great shape and it is sure to provide its next owner with many years of enjoyment behind the wheel.
