KEY FACTS

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in the attractive blue livery colour of its original owner, this Hard Top variant of the Defender comes with custom side storage compartments, and has side access shutters for the rear shelving sections. There are also two external storage lockers, and a compact boot compartment accessed via the rear door.
• Inside there is an Eberspacher cabin heater, plus a reversing camera with screen in place of a rear-view mirror.
• A Gentili roof rack system has been installed, along with a front-mounted winch, while other features include three-pin plug sockets and additional external lighting at the front and rear, along with an amber beacon. There is also a Pioneer CD/stereo head unit.
• It rides on a set of 16-inch heavy duty steel wheels, which are wrapped in 265/70/R16 BFGoodrich All-Terrain tyres.
• A replacement gearbox, clutch, starter motor, and battery have recently been fitted.
• This vehicle comes with a full vehicle history print-out covering some 20 pages, and two sets of keys.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• The blue paintwork has previously been resprayed and is now reported to be in genuinely excellent condition. The underside has also been fully steam cleaned and undersealed.
• Some of the exterior bolts and the winch have some minor surface rust and signs of wear.
• In the front cabin, the seats are in tidy condition, with a small tear to the driver’s seat bolster and some other general wear.
• The rear storage compartments show plenty of signs of use, with surface scuffs, some light corrosion, and various nicks and chips to the various containers and shelves.
• All of the standard buttons, switches, and electrical items currently work as they should.
• The last MOT was carried out on 14 July 2021 at 201,003 miles, where the test centre reported some minor damage to the offside rear shock absorber casing, and slight deterioration to the front registration plate.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This 110’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in July 2021 by Timberlake Motors, who replaced the fuel pressure regulator and the battery.
• Prior to this, the gearbox, clutch and slave cylinder were changed in June 2021. The receipts for all the most recent work tally some £2,800.
• On 1 February 2020 at 199,430 miles, the 110 had a minor service by Alfa Tail Lifts Ltd.
• The front and rear brake pads were replaced by Tony Green Commercials Ltd on 9 December 2019 at 196,777 miles.
• A new steering box drop arm was installed by Tony Green Commercials Ltd at 191,539 miles on 30 August 2019.
