2011 JAGUAR XKR 5.0 SPEED AND BLACK PACK

This Jaguar XKR Speed and Black Pack is a lesser-seen high-performance GT car, presented in excellent condition and with low mileage from new. Power is provided by a supercharged 5.0-litre V8, which drives the rear wheels via a six-speed ZF automatic transmission for a 0-62mph time of just 4.9 seconds. The odometer indicates just 42,410 miles from new.

First registered on 25 March 2011, this right-hand drive special edition XKR combines the Speed Pack – which raises the car’s limited top speed to 174mph and adds a number of unique colour-coded aerodynamic parts including the front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser and a taller rear spoiler – with the Black Pack, which features 20-inch gloss black ‘Kalimnos’ alloy wheels, along with black window surrounds and front grilles.

Specified in Polaris White with a Charcoal leather interior, it is also equipped with front and rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control and a premium Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

Today, the stylish Ian Callum-designed aluminium bodywork remains in excellent condition, with smooth, even shut lines and no evidence of any prior damage. The Polaris White paintwork also presents very well, and the vendor believes it is entirely original. 

As part of the Black Pack which makes up this special XKR, the car rides on a set of 20-inch ‘Kalimnos’ alloy wheels, which are in great shape, with few marks or blemishes. Behind, a set of bright red ‘R’-branded brake callipers add a vibrant accent to the otherwise pure exterior colour scheme. 

Clad in Charcoal leather with cream stitching, the cabin is very smart indeed, with little in the way of wear to the supportive front seats, the door cards or the steering wheel. Dark Mesh Aluminium trim features on the dashboard and the door cards, and is in good order, as is the Piano Black panel which surrounds the automatic gear selector and parking brake in the centre console. 

Factory-fitted equipment includes a satellite navigation system, electrically adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, front and rear parking sensors and a Bowers & Wilkins premium stereo system. All of the interior buttons, switches and electrical items are reported to work without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard. 

Routinely serviced by Jaguar specialists and main dealers, this XKR is in impressive mechanical order. The car has just received a fresh service on 10 February 2021. Prior to this, it was serviced in February 2020 at 39,427 miles by Jaguar specialist Owen Ferry Automotive, which replaced the engine oil, pollen filter and cam belt. 

Prior to this, Owen Ferry Automotive carried out oil services in February 2019 at 36,162 miles and in February 2018 at 34,178 miles, when the car’s spark plugs were also replaced. A full summary of service history is included below. 

Its last MOT test was conducted on 24 February 2020 at 39,427 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no advisories. All four wheels are shod in Dunlop SP SportMaxx tyres. The vendor states that the front tyres have 4mm of tread remaining, while there is 3.8mm of tread left at the rear. 

This XKR will be accompanied by all of its original handbooks and documents, as well as its stamped service book and tyre inflator. 

This Jaguar XKR Speed and Black Pack is a superb example of the X150-generation 2+2 tourer. Boasting a desirable factory specification, its aggressive bodywork and black 20-inch alloys help it to stand out from the crowd, while the lofty 174mph top speed would allow it to make short work of long journeys on derestricted roads on the continent. Presented in very good order and with low mileage from new, this sporting Jaguar will make an excellent addition to any collection, and is ready to be enjoyed immediately.
