2011 BENTLEY MULSANNE

This 2011 Bentley Mulsanne is a refined luxury saloon, with a superb factory specification, an appealing colour scheme and which is in excellent condition. Under the bonnet sits the twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 engine, producing 505bhp and 752lb-ft of torque, coupled with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer currently indicates 40,640 miles from new.

First registered in March 2011, this Mulsanne has been with its current keeper for one year. It was specified with the chrome radiator grille, rear entertainment package with a six-disc DVD player and a television tuner, DAB digital radio, and Mulsanne Launch Specification option.

This Mulsanne’s elegant bodywork is all in good order, and its black paintwork is believed to be entirely original. The vendor reports that one small mark can be seen on the silver rear bumper trim, while a few small stone chips are visible on the front end. The chrome grille and ‘Flying B’ both present very well, and the vehicle rides on a set of 21-inch split-rim alloys with gloss black spokes and centres and polished edges, which have some kerbing grazes and chips.

Inside, the black leather trim is in excellent condition, with just some light creasing to the seat bolsters and base panels. One or two very light marks can be seen in the door card leather. The upholstery is complemented by walnut veneers which continue through the dashboard and centre console, presenting very well throughout. The front and both rear outboard seats have heating controls and their own climate control settings, while rear-seat passengers also benefit from folding walnut tables and the entertainment screens.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in 2020 at 39,530 miles, where marque specialist Nigel Sandell carried out a full service. The original handbooks, service book and tool kit remain with the car.

The car will be handed over with a fresh 12-month MOT certificate, with the test scheduled to take place during the auction. Prior to this, its most recent MOT test was on 13 June 2019 at 35,056 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The Pirelli tyres are reported to be in good condition, all with at least 4mm of tread remaining.

This Bentley Mulsanne is a refined and beautifully appointed grand tourer, with a desirable colour scheme and a high factory specification. A low-mileage example, this Mulsanne would make a great choice for long-distance road trips, or perhaps a chauffeur-driven vehicle for a private fleet.
