2011 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT - W12

This Bentley Continental GT is a wonderful example of the luxurious modern grand tourer, presented in a lesser-seen colour scheme and with low mileage from new. Under the bonnet is the remarkable twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12, which sends 567bhp and 516lb-ft of torque to all four wheels via the eight-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The odometer displays just 21,237 miles from new.

First registered on 18 November 2011, this second-generation Continental GT currently has two previous keepers on the V5C, and is now offered for sale by the trade.

Today, the stylish bodywork shows no signs of damage, with smooth panels and flush shut lines. The paint finish has a rich and glossy appearance across the entire car, and is described by the vendor as being in immaculate condition. The car rides on a set of handsome 21-inch alloys, which are in very good order, with a small kerbing mark on one wheel.

On opening the door and stepping into the cabin, in becomes clear why Bentley’s use of high-quality materials and attention to detail are so widely praised. Clad in Linen hide with dark brown leather accents and wood trim, the inviting cabin presents very well. While there are some minor blemishes including slight discolouration on the passenger door trim, and some areas on the rear pillars where the brown leather is coming away from its backing, these hardly detract from the interior’s otherwise luxurious air.

The glossy wooden veneers which adorn the dashboard, centre console and steering wheel rim are all in good order, as are the car’s carpets and headlining. Factory-fitted equipment includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control and touch-screen infotainment with a six-disc CD changer and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as front and rear parking sensors and soft close doors. The seller states that all of the interior buttons, switches and electrical items work without fault, and that there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

The Continental GT’s most recent service was carried out in January 2020 at 20,816 miles by Bentley Hampshire, when technicians replaced the engine oil, and fitted a new vacuum pipe and tyre pressure monitoring system sensor. Prior to this the car was serviced in January 2019 and January 2018, with Bentley Hampshire again completing the work on both occasions.

Its last MOT test was conducted on 27 January 2021 at 21,241 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no advisories. All four of the car’s alloy wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres, which the seller reports to be in very good condition and with plenty of tread remaining.

This luxury GT will be accompanied by its stamped service book, paperwork detailing all work carried out, two keys and details of its past maintenance.
